510 vs 510 mega atty

I know the main difference between the two is the length. i have a 510 mega battery and 510 mega atty. i was just wondering if the diameter of the regular is the same as the mega. i mostly drip and the mega seems along way down. just wanted to know if a regular 510 atty would work, being as i am going to be using a drip tip.

would it be better to use a drip tip with a 510 mega atty or a reg 510 atty. i am using 510 mega batteries and thy give me a good half day of vape. carts are not working for me. bought some drip tips to make dripping easier.but would a reg 510 atty be better for dripping with my 510 mega battery?

The only reason the mega atty was created was to accommodate the size of the mega cartridge. Since you're not using the cartridge, the regular atty should be fine for dripping. The ohm rating is the same on the regular atty as the mega atty so you won't be losing anything there by using the regular 510 atomizer.
