Hi,

I bought a 5 pack of the 510 XL clearomizers and they seem to be cracking very easily on the bottom and leaking fluid. Is this common? I have been very careful with them but today I had liquid on my hands and when I looked very closely I noticed little cracks where the plastic attaches to the part you screw into the battery. :(

Thanks for the response but I now think that "being very careful with them" might be an overstatement.

I "have" been very careful with them but I did have it in my pocket the other day and that's probably what caused them to crack. I didn't think about the pressure exerted on it when I sat down stood up etc. I still think that they are fragile but I will be a little more careful with them and not keep them in my pocket attached to the battery.

I've had some that were cracked when I got them. I opened a new one today and found cracks. I've learned to inspect them before filling because of this. They work great when they aren't cracked and you can't beat the price.

I've just converted my hubby to vaping and he loves the tanks. Last night, he converted a coworker so I sent a new clearomizer and a battery for the coworker to use until he can buy his own.

Well I have to update this again. These things crack if the wind blows to strong lol. I had a brand new one that I very gingerly filled with liquid and only have used at home the last 2 days and I just noticed a crack. Bummer! I wish they could make them stronger.

I wrap some transparent Scotch tape around the edges of the tube. This seems to extend their life a bit, but they still crack.
