510 XL DC 3.0 ohm - Not working so well

I just picked up 2 5 packs of the 510 xl 3 ohm dc cartos from CoV and received them today. I've normally used the standard sized Boge cartos but don't want to fill every 10 minutes and thought the stainless steel carto plus Ming SS drip tip was sexy with my Provari. I've been looking at the tank mod on this page but at the moment just wanted to see how well these lasted as is.

I filled one via condom fill method from batt side and topped it off. It clogged and when I tried vaping its horribly minimal th, flavor and vape.

My question is how much juice should I be filling these with and are these specifically designed to vape at 6v+? I was pretty excited when they got here but they just vape weak for DC's at 5v.

Any info or help is appreciated. Thanks.

Try using a syringe. Be sure to blow out any juice in the air tube. They hold a little over 2 m/l. Mine kick a.. at 5 volt. At high voltage they must be given time to wick with thick juices.

Thanks, I think I answered my own question after finding out I flooded the carto. At 5.5 it tastes amazing, TH is a little too strong and I could fill the office with vapor. Just needed some more time to sit I guess.
