510s and Dripping

After much messing around with carts, I have begun dripping into my 510 atty. Much simpler but taking the cart off and on is a pain (mostly because I drop them alot and inevitably they fall on the nastiest spot on any given floor). So... I have decided to purchase a some drip tips. What I can't seem to find is whether the darned things will fit my mega attys or if I will need to revert back to the regular 510 attys. Anyone use drip tips with 510 megas?

I don't use mega carts but if a standard 510 cart fits your atty, a drip tip should fit fine. I like the drip tip because it's much less hassle than using carts when I'm at home. If you decide to order, buy at least 2. If you lose one and can't find it you still have another. I've got one plastic and one stainless steel. I prefer the plastic because the metal one gets pretty warm after a while.

I have wondered about the metal drip tips... I know that my 510 attys get pretty hot...

Anyone have feedback on the silicone drip tips?

I have both the metal and plastic tips from cignot and I prefer the metal. The black plastic ones dont seal as good. The metal getting hot has never been a problem for me and I run passthrus all the time at the atty gets hot but never the tip. The main issue is that depending on the bottle, the drops are different sizes and some will be too big to work well. You might still have to take it off to drip.

Trying to stay away from plastic if I can so I guess I'm gonna bite the bullet and order a couple of metal drip tips on payday.

I mostly use VG juice and have found that because of the thickness of the liquid the drops are bigger. I've remedied this by thinning the juice a bit with some distilled water. Just a few drops does wonders for 15ml of VG liquid. So... messy dripping with a tip should not be an issue. Probably less so than my current issues with taking of the carts. As for having to carry around a bottle of juice, I do that already, several in fact. :)
