Hello all, as some of you know I'm new and still awaiting my Joye Ego to be mailed to me. While browsing the forum I notice some members talking about the flavors 555 and RY4. I was just curious as to what these flavors are and taste like? They seem to be popular when people refer to them so any insight would be great.

No, really, i don't know why they are called that. None of them taste like numbers to me. RY4 is said to taste like marshmallows. More like honeysuckle to me. 555 tastes kinda like caramel. They're usually listed under tobacco flavors, but I've never tasted tobacco like that. Still they are probably the most popular tobacco flavors. Every juicery has one. VR4 from Vaperite.com is the most tastey to me. YMMV

I love the 555, it's tobaccoey with a nice nutty taste to it. It's one of my favorite flavors (and I just ran out)
I've tried 2 Ry4's and I should love it, but I don't. I've heard it has a carmel aftertaste, but I'm not getting that.
They're both very popular, so start with a sample size and see which one you like, or both !

spot on description in my experience.

555 is pretty consistent no matter where ordered. RY4 does vary noticably from different vendors (most notably the caramel undertone and sweetness) so just bc you dont like your first RY4 does not mean you should not try one from another seller.

I tried a 555 not sure who made it cause local supplier but it was horrid and I do not ever want to taste it again the ry4 wasn't bad but my favorite all day tobacco flavor is Mild 7 Today I got brave and bought a few 5 mil samplers of some fruity flavors like strawberry blueberry orange and cherry I can't say I would vape on any of these all day but it sure is nice to fool the taste buds for a few hours here and their well not too sure about that either since I have only tried it for the last couple hours but I put a small mix of blueberry (20 drops) and strawberry (5 drops) with a touch of Mild 7 (5 drops) and it has the awesome fruity taste with a touch of tobacco that just soothes the taste buds. lol :)

Some versions of RY4 are too sweet. Ideally, it should taste like mild tobacco with caramel and vanilla gently mixed in, for my tastebuds. Icky sweet is not my thang.

I have tried three versions of 555, and hated them all passionately! I've given up on it. They all tastes like stale peanuts to me. Or any stale nut that's gone rancid.

If you've purchased an RY4 that is too icky sweet or overbearing, try mixing it half-and-half with some mild tobacco flavoring, like a Virginia tobacco taste. That may make it palatable.

I guess the 555 is like Wyatt Earp from FSUSA. You either love it or hate it. I hate it. My wife hates it too. The only use I found for it was to mix a couple of drops of it into some maple syrup and butterscotch and it somewhat remotely resembled pecan pie. It still made me shudder though.

Ry4 doesn't taste like the "original".

Most ry4s are an attempt to recreate the original and many miss the mark. Dekang ry4 is the closest I have found.

It should have a smooth nutty tobacco flavor with a sudtle vanilla and caramel taste. If it is too sweet than they are probably using a candy caramel flavoring.

It should be rich and only a little sweet.
