...Is anyone able to put into words what kind of difference there is between the two??

555 is my go to "bacco" flava'... If I had to put into words the difference between 555 and 555 'exotic'?... Hhmm, my tastes sense a kind of 'clove' undertone to the exotic?, but I may be way off base on what the actual ingredient is.. everybody tastes juices differently I guess. Hope this helps.

I will try but like anyone your taste may vary. I find it to be a clove like with a touch of cinnamon perhaps and a cool finish like a menthol but not like a menthol. It is strong but not too strong. It does tone down a bit after is steeps for a few weeks but that only makes it better. You get a subtle tobacco flavor with the other flavors taking the lead if you know what I mean.

It is really quite good when I'm in the mood for it. For me Dons flavors are something that you should have a good assortment of them around. I go through moods and sometimes I need something stronger or something smoother or something for when I'm sitting in front of the fire after a good meal. Like the Applewood or the Maple Tobacco. In the morning I may want a Honey Flue with my coffee etc.

If you ever smoked cigars then you can understand how a good cigar goes with a certain meal or a certain time of day. Like a nice Casablanca on a Sunday morning out on the porch with a cup of coffee and the Sunday paper. AAAAAhhhhhh Heaven.

It is a completely different animal Dudex

This is truth. At most I'd say Exotic has some undertones of the 555 - it's not the same thing. And taste is everything...reading other peoples descriptions of Exotic I'm left wondering if I even had the same Exotic they had - landscaper's descrip sounds more like a stronger version of Hunter's Blend to me than the Exotic I had, which defies description and was ultra powerful. It wasn't for me, but that's just preference I suppose.

Thanks for the attempt at explaining the differences. I know its hard to nail it down to words. To be very honest, when i got my first order of a 10ml bottle of 555 I was disappointed. It had an overwhelming perfumy taste and I didnt think any length of steeping could help it. So I put it away for a couple weeks and only when I had run low on liquids did I give it another try. Needless to say the 10ml bottle didnt last long. As everyone had said, steeping makes all the difference. Now I have been nursing the last few drops of the bottle I am looking to get a large bottle knowing it will be a few weeks till its ready. But I also wanted to expand my stock and that is why I was looking at the 555E. Maybe I will just go with a small bottle of exotic to start.

555 Exotic is one of my new favorites but I could see it being hit or miss for some. I didn't like my first sample out of the mail, let it mature for a week, then haven't put it down since.

It's got maybe a cool citrus/floral? taste on the inhale but more nutty/spicy? taste on the exhale. Clean, maybe a little tart. My 555 sampler size hasn't steeped long enough to fairly compare it to yet, out of the mail it was not even close in taste, 555 Exotic doesn't have the same huge perfume smell, it's more...exotic!

Get a sample, if you don't like it, PM me and I'll gladly swap with you. :vapor:

Well I wanted to follow up on my original post. As soon as Don opened the store back up I placed an order for the 555 Exotic. As stated it is a completely different animal from the normal 555.

My first impression from the 555exotic was a Rich Tobacco Flavor With a Slight Coconut Undertone. If you dont like coconut, do not let this scare you off. If this is what I am tasting it just gives this a light sweetness and nuttyness.

As with other BYB liquids I am betting this will transform to something a bit different with some steeping, but I am enjoying it right out of the package.

I do want to add, something amazing happens to this stuff with your morning coffee.

Glad you like it, it's all I vape these days. I don't get coconut, but then again I don't taste nuts either - just pure goodness and I'm not too concerned about what it is I'm tasting.

I find that it doesn't change much, if at all, with steeping (unlike all my other bwb). That's one of the things I like about it, dependably consistent from day 1 to day 100. I mean, if my cigs changed flavor every day I might have taken on a murderous mood lol - change is bad, mmk.
