5V 306 atty?

So I know i'll probably sound like a noob, but I've looked around and decided that I want to use a 306 on my 5v pass through, problem is, I don't know what ohm's to get, would a standard resistance like 2 and up be okay? Or would it give off a burnt taste? Just confused about this because I normally only vape at 3.7 with a 1.5 ohm atty.

Thanks

Many people report that a 306 seems to burn warmer than a 510 atty. That may be just because of the positioning of the coil and the overall size of the atty, which doesn't give the vapor as much room to cool down. Ohms law is ohms law, so the coil itself is no hotter on a 306 than on a 510 with the same resistance and voltage behind it.

2ohms on a 5V passthrough would give you 12.5 Watts. That's pretty warm. 3.7V with a 1.5ohm atty gives you 9.12 Watts and what you have been getting.

So you might want to split the difference somewhere, keeping in mind that a 306 may feel a bit warmer. a 2.5ohm atty at 5V will give you 10 watts, which is my personal "sweet spot".
