I picked up a Joye 306 LR atty to use with my Joye 510 bats. The product description states:

“The Joye 306 low resistance atomizer is the perfect replacement for your Joye 306 "Mini Fogger" electronic cigarette.”

Now on another site the sells the 306 LR atty, it clearly states in a disclaimer like fashion that:
“Like other low resistance atomizers, the LR 306 must be used at 3.7v only, and will simulate a high voltage vaping experience. Keep this atomizer wet at all times! If you let it get dry, it will burn out. You must use these atomizers with batteries rated at no less than 450mAh. IMR batteries are recommended for use with this atomizer. We carry IMR18650, IMR14500 and IMR 10440 batteries. Do not use with a regular e-cig battery.”

Now the only information I could find on the Joye 510 bats are that they are 180mA. I couldn’t find the voltage. Does anybody know the voltage? And if they are ok to use with the 306 LR atty without damaging them?

Ok, you need to use a bigger battery (mAh). They will work on lower mAh batteries but you will kill the batteries in a short time. I recommend that you get some eGo batteries(3.7v 650mAh) with a 510 LR atomizer or eGo batteries with a 510 to 306 adapter. These will give you the desired results of duplicating a high voltage battery. I believe the regular batteries lose voltage way to fast.
It's your batteries you have to worry about burning out at a lower mAh not the atomizer.

Hope this helps:laugh:

I drip a 510 LR Cisco atty on my eGo 3.7v 1000mAh batteries(24hrs) and love it.

Joye 510 Manual Battery is 3.7v, mine tested at 3.6 fully charged.

Joye LR510 Atty = ~1.6 Ohm @ 3.7v = 2.31 Amps
Joye SR510 Atty = ~2.2 Ohm @ 3.7v = 1.68 Amps
iVape SR510 Atty = ~3.1 Ohm @ 3.7v = 1.19 Amps
EgoT SR Atty = ~2.2 Ohm @ 3.7v = 1.68 Amps

In case you wondered. :)

I used a Joye LR 510 on Joye 510 Manual battery, and i've had no problems (yet). :)

Fully charged is not a good way to test a battery. What counts is what voltage it vapes at over most of the charge time and people generally say that is 3.2v for a Joye 510. It is not a 3.7v battery.

You can do whatever you want if you are willing to replace your batteries frequently if they die prematurely or start holding less charge. That is the effect people reported of using LR attys on slim Joye 510.

Actually, the way to test a battery is under load, that is, with an atty attached to it. The nominal voltage (unloaded battery) doesn't mean much. The 510 batteries regulate their voltage to a constant 3.2v--freshly charged or not. With the exception of the new Rivas, which are true 3.7v under load.

Per Ty and Abe, all of the Rivas currently on sale at LF are the true 3.7v (tested by Scottbee himself!) The standard ones are sold out and are not coming back.

I have a stainless and a black SE; I love the silver band. Great batteries. Some of them malfunction, sometimes, but LF has really good CS and great warranties--they will replace anything that is not 100% perfect.

Enjoy!

LR addies work only with 3.7 volt devices anything else will kill the battery..something like a reg 510.

Sorry, this is not correct. As a matter of fact, it is much safer to use low resistance atomizers (1.5Ω or so) with lower voltage batteries, like the 3.2v eGos. LR atty on a 3.7v device may get too hot and either overheat your juice or pop, or both.
