5v box mod fail

I have everything I need for a 5v box mod except the regulator I got is 5v 1amp will this work (prolly not) oh well guess I can just make a3.7 volt 2700maah three bat all-day PV.

Yeppers got my 510 connections from them great ppl they even threw in an extra one!! I just had a brain fart and forgot to get the correct regulators so I tried radioshack no dice! I made a lamebrained decision to try getting the rest of my parts local to save shipping Woohoo what a mistake never again oh well live and learn. So now I have 2 boxes 2 leds a pack of resistors 470ohmand3 510 connectors, not to mention 4,batts and a charger
