I'm looking for a 5v mod that is not a box mod. I would like one that looks nice when vaping in public but my budget is only $100 including batteries and charger if needed. I currently have a multi charger but its to large for cr123 batteries so if the mod requires those I would have to buy a new charger. I want to have 2 sets of batteries. I currently have 2 14500 LI batts so if the mod uses these it would save me the cost of 2 batteries. Please reply with any suggestions.

This one is kind of out there, but by using a 6v mod with a high resistance atty / carto, you'll be getting about the same end results as a 5v mod with standard atty / carto. I use a 6v Prodigy V3 mainly with Nhaler's mega cartomizers because they are rated at about 3.4 ohms. It cuts down the heat but still produces plumes of vapor! Might be another alley for you to look down if you can't find anything else

The LR attys and Cartos are what I use now but the LR attys and cartomizers don't last nearly as long as the regular attys and cartos so I was thinking it would be cheaper in the long run to go with 5v instead of the 3.7v with LR option. Had not thought about 6v with HV attys and cartos.

I know litecigusa.com has a thermo that is 6 volt, comes with 4 batts and the smaller spark plug case so kinda get 2 unit that way. It is under $100. Might work for your needs.
A Prodigy V3 would be an option. I think its just a hair over $100 but you get 2 sets of batts and a charger. I think 6 volts is a bit too much but it works great with anything around 3 - 3.5 ohms like 901s and BE112 attys.
Prodigy V3's are great looking units. A Buzz is $115 but they have blemished buzz's for around $85 which is a great deal. Variable voltage. Both unit are exactly the same size. I'm having a problem with my buzz so I sent it in to get fixed. If I have any more problems with it I am returning it for a Prodigy V3.
Don't know about shipping costs, but the Little Gem is an up to 6v multi-voltage mod which looks pretty nice, comes in a range of colours and is just £28 (about $45).

I have a Prodigy V3 and love it!!!!! I have a V1, V2 and a V3. Love them all but right now i'm just using my V3. Going to jury duty on Monday then I'll break out the Protege. I've been a Puresmoker for over a year and I have had no problems with the switches or anything else. Worth every penny imo.
