That little card doesn't mention anything about not washing the coils with water. It says that you should never let the tank get completely empty or you will burn the wick, and you should always let the juice soak in well when you put in a new coil.

The card comes with the latest cotton BVC's and Aspire will never suggest repairing something that they expect you to purchase and replace, not fix!!!!

Obviously you cannot wash cotton wicking with water, At present, we are still seeing the ceramic material with larger juice feed holes( which you can prolong the life of with rinsing or alcohol wash) but the packs with this card in are cotton only wicks, supposedly, although I doubt Aspire will not combine some silica with it.

I have that same card, but it didn't come in the package of replacement coils. It was in the box that my Nautilus came in.

I remember hearing or reading about a similar warning, however, I've never seen this "card." It's bit too small for me to read. Are you able to repost it slightly larger? None of my coil packages contain this warning and I checked on the Aspire website and couldn't find any info. I have to wonder about the reason behind the warning. The coil and wicking material are constantly immersed in a PG/VG solution that becomes superheated and that's OK, but a simple water rinse is bad? And yes, I know to never dry burn Aspire BVCs.

BTW, I have a Kayfun V4 coming my way, so soon I'll be rebuilding my own coils as well :2cool:

Ok, I re sized it for you. I presume the card onlycomes with the latest 5 coil packs which should be mainly (if not all) cotton. This would explain the card as, unlike ceramic, if you allow the tank to run dry or forget to prep the coil before vaping. the cotton will burn upon contact with the heated coil...makes sense to me, just simple logic right?

They have just started appearing as Aspire probably had a ton of ceramic paper wicking material to use up before putting the cotton coils into production,

Congrats on getting into rebuildables, I'm loving my K4 clone. can't beat this for the price:vapor:

That certainly means that your new Nautilus came with the latest coils (cotton) and the card will also come in any future replacements you buy (unless it is older stock)
The last coils I bought have the card in there.
