So been vaping now for over 6 months and I want to treat myself with a new batt. I am a diehard 808 gal and I love them and I want to try something new. Wouldnt mind something with a tank and longer battery life. I need some help from my friends and the more veteran users here.
Also the weird thing is Im noticing I'm just not getting the nic kick that I used to and I am at 24 mg in my juices! I MISS MISS MISS the head rush from that first cigarette and lately I'm craving it more. What's wrong with me?! 6 months off analogs and now I'm craving them? What can I do to get that head rush feeling? I just need that once in the morn to kick off my day if that makes any sense?

first off CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 months wow thats awesome, good for you!!!!!
I have never used a 808 so I can't really help other to say the Itaste VV and the Lava tube work well for me and my wife!
I like the Lava tube for in the car and at home due to the huge batt life, but I love the Itaste VV because it is amble to hit the high end voltage and be portable enough for me to be descreet if need be?!?!
if you were closer I would say meet the wife and I at Canvape's booth and try ours and then if you like ...I think canvape still has the best prices on both the lava tube/knight rider and the Itaste VV .....I don't work for canvape lol

is there a brick and mortar shop in Windsor? ..being that close to the border maybe you and hubby could take a trip over the border to some brick and mortar shops and try a pile of them out and get something that works for you!

best of luck and let us know what scratched the itches as ...we will most likely get to that point as well!

6 months! Hooray! Treat yourself, you deserve it!

Far as the head rush goes, not sure what you could do to replicate that experience. I agree that VV would help with that; cranking up your usual juice would give more vapour and by extension more nic per drag. Haven't tried WTA so I can't speak to that.

An aside: I find I have to lighten up on the vapes in the morning, myself. Hitting a 24mg in the morning just gives me massive coughing fits. Perhaps this is a sign I should be cutting down? Don't want to hijack the thread, just a thought that crossed my mind.

No matter what, you've stayed off cigarettes for 6 months, and that is great!

Another thought: Perhaps telling yourself, "I've gone 183 days without a smoke. One more should be a piece of cake." would help get you through those I-want-a-cigarette times? I *know* you've got this.

CONGRATS on 6 MONTHS!!!! :)

I am not a veteran, but I really love the ego twist vv, the 1000 mah lasts forever compared to an 808.
As far as the nic kick, I think our bodies adjust over a period of time, like anything else. I would go low for a day or two then try the 24mg again. Try different cartos, clearos too, especially with a vv, you may find your happy place.

Much luck to you.

I'm not sure what 808 kit you have, but really there aren't a lot of mega upgrades you can do to that. If it's got the right TH and flavour for you, about the only thing you could look at as an "upgrade" (sidegrade) would be moving to a longer battery.

If you want to stick with a pen-style, I'd suggest the Redds Kit from Happy Vaper. It's an 808, will work with all your existing stuff, but the big thing here is the PCC. One charge will recharge your battery 4-5 times while you're out, and the Redds cartos are 2ohm which produce a ton of vapor on those little batteries. It's extremely convenient, but it's still an 808.

If you're OK with moving off the pen-style batteries, then the options are really limitless. I honestly think if you're going to go this route, it's worth looking at either the iTaste VV Kit, or an eGo Twist VV Kit. Having a VV device allows you to dial in the flavour/vapor for whatever you have connected to it. The eGo Twist kit with 2 batteries and all the trimmings will be about the same cost as the iTaste kit for 1 battery (Which can be used as a passthrough). Both will give you substantially more battery life than an 808 out of the box.. Especially if you're using the 65mm or 78mm batteries. The iTaste definately has more sex appeal than the eGo Twist if that's a contributing factor.

I've read mixed reports of the iTaste Tiny Cartos, and tanks that come with the device. The current version apparently has leaking problems after the first couple of fills. You can however, grab some Firebird Clearos, or get the 808 Magnet adapter and use your current 808 cartos on it. The only problem is you won't be able to put the cap on with the carto connected.

I personally think those two devices are the next "logical" step if you're looking for something bigger, without blowing the bank on a provari, or GG. I won't speak to box mods, and bottom feeders because I don't really have any experience with them.

Congrats on your 6 months! The hard part is over :D
