Today is a day that I'd never would have thought would come a year ago. I'm six months cigarette free!!!!
I was a 43 year smoker, burning up to 3 packs a day. I did manage to quit 3 times before in my life. Once for 3 years. When I went back to smoking then, it was either lighting up a cigarette or jumping out the window and obviously I picked the latter.
There were also 2 other stints when I quit. Once for 6 months and the other just shy of that.
So here's hoping that this sticks. I can't see why not though. I didn't have ecigs to help me back then. There are 2 smokers in the house and often, a pack lying around. On a few occasions, I've looked at those packs with a certain yearning, but then I breathe deeply and go and grab my pv. Then all is right with the smoke-free world again and then the thought of my mouth, hair, clothes, etc smelling like an ashtray brings shivers (being a bit dramatic) down my spine!
PS...it's also nice to know that my kids are so proud of me.
Thank you everyone here at PIF and ECF for making this so easy for me!!! Big Hugs!!!!
