Lisa, I agree the 901 is not good with 6V. I tried many different liquids and strenghts, but I do not really enjoy it. The only time it is ok, is when the Voltage goes a bit down. The reason why I have no choice is that I am waiting for my 3.7 V batties from DX....waiting...waiting...and more waiting.

Another dumb questions as always. :p

Until the imeobatteries are available, my understanding is that the highest voltage is 3.7. Am I correct? If so, how can you use one 6 v battery. Where can you find 6 v. batteries, if they are, in fact, available?

These are the posts that confused me:

1. "These are to be used on 6V batteries? The others on 2 3.7 batteries? I am so confused."

2. "I am not sure what the difference is but I was told that I could use the 7.4s with 6v batteries also... So I am going to try different combinations... 6v atty on 3.7v batt, 6v atty on 6v batt, 6v atty on 7.4v batt, 7.4 atty on 3.7v, 7.4 atty on 6v batt, and finally the big ole 7.4 atty on 7.4 v batts".

Thanks,
Lynn

Hiya Lynn,
You can already vape at 6V with 2 x 3V batteries- it's just you are likely to kill your atties a lot quicker, because they aren't designed for it.

Imeo has had these atties specifically made for High voltage vaping.

The 7.2+ high voltage atomiser is a completely new concept, previously if you tried to vape with 2 x 3.6V or 2 x 3.7V batteries, you would have popped your atty immediately. Imeo has fixed this problem with the higher of the HV atties (as you saw in his video where he nearly set himself and his house on fire:rolleyes:)

Of course, it's worth experimenting with these new atties on different voltages to see what results you get.

AGAIN, Lisa, thanks for your prompt reply. I guess I just misunderstood the posts when a 6 v battery was mentioned. I do understand the concept of the attys and am still debating if I want to order some or not. One I get the AFS it will be a moot point unless I blow the atty right off the bat.

I hope you got spare atties for your AFS, cos once you get used to it, you will go crazy if you only have one when it eventually blows.............

As soon as they become available (in a few days??), I will be all over them. When I ordered the AFS I didn't see an option to order spare attys. (I believe Imeo was having them lasered.) I am a hoarder and don't like to be caught short so I am hoping the AFS atties will be here shortly. :D

I think the AFS should be sold with at least five atties..... When you only get one at a time you are asking for down time for sure....especially when we all know the quality of the atties on the market these days.... they just don't last long.... And you can get duds....

The diferences between GG and 5 volt devices are:

1) atomizers that last longer than a regular one at 5 volts even if it gives the same power!!

2) we can smoke in any volt we want chanching the atomizer's resistance!!

3) No electronic parts on GG that will soon fail, so no future problems and an unreliable device!!

This solution is perfect for now and it solves many problems as you see. I have something else in mind right now and if I make it real then you will be more happy than now, I promise that, but try the available imeoatties for now and we will see in near future:):)
