Howdy guys I'm very close to ordering a ProVari tomorrow once I get my paycheck but I have a concern. I vape at 6 volts exclusively, I use a Silver Bullet with stacked lifepo4 batts and regular resistance boge cartos. I like this setup but I'm looking to get something new. I'm a throat hit junkie, I vape 24mg Tampa tobacco juice from the vaporstation and it really gets the job done. Can I use the ProVari @ 6 volts with a regular resistance boge carto? I've heard some people say that they get an e1 code because of the fluctuations in resistance of the carto. Can any high voltage provari users shed some light on this for me please?

Thanks,

Excellent, yes the 3 ohm is what I always get I think. I've never tested them and litecigusa doesn't say what the resistance is but after looking at other sites it seems they're right around 3 ohms. Now I'm wondering if I'll get an even better TH from the ProVari (compared to my SB) because of the voltage regulation. Anyone compared these two at 6v?

The voltage regulation will make it much better, but more than that, the hit will be stronger. 6v on the SB is just 6v BEFORE load. There is always a small voltage drop across a load. With the Provari, 6v means 6v under load. That's why alot of people claim that 3.3v on the Provari feels the same as a normal 3.7v device.

On the resistance thing... The Provari USED TO struggle with 3ohms at 6v, because that is right at 2A, which was the amp limit of the v1. However the v2 Provari has a 3.5A limit, so it will run it perfectly fine without flinching.

Oh man you're making my mouth water right now...the only thing I'm ...... about now is that if I order it tomorrow I'll have to wait over the danged weekend to get it! Arrrg wish I could just have it appear in my hands. When is provape going to offer teleportation for an extra fee? Ok so Lord willing, tomorrow I'm going to place my order for the satin silver ProVari with blue LED, charger, and 3 x 18490 batts. I think I'm going to spring for the warranty too. If I need extra batt life I can always get the extension later, but I'm sure the 18490s will last longer than my old crappy tenergy lifepo4s are lasting now. Yay! I can't wait! Thank you very much for your help!

Got mine today but had to work late. Only a few hours using my new toy. You will not be disappointed
