Hello folks. Just a bit of an introduction, as well as a request to "check my math," so to speak.
I've been smoking pipes and cigars since 18, started smoking cigarettes when I hit the culinary industry, and haven't touched a cigarettes for about a year. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who can quit cold turkey without much effort.
I first heard about e-cigs from a Blu banner, but after some research I realized that they weren't as choice as they seemed on their site (imagine that). I tried a Volcano disposable, but was disappointed by the flavor. What they call "tobacco" tastes more like sushi rice. If anyone developed a yellow-fin tuna flavor, the Volcano "tobacco" will be the natural match, but I want my tobacco flavoring to taste like tobacco! So now I'm on the precipice, about to plunge into real vaping. After reading tomes of information, I've decided that the Powerpal 601 would work best for me. A smart PCC pleases me, as does size of a 510, and all the advantages that come with it. The atomizer of a 4xx will do me well if I ever get into dipping.
Now, as for the juice, I'm a little fuzzy. Electronic-cigz carries Crystal Liquids, which from my reading is pretty good stuff. However, I haven't the slightest what the difference between "classic" and "American" tobacco is. I've also read about a Turkish flavoring, as well as some other, less main-stream flavors that seem interesting. My tastes in cigarettes ranged from Nat Shermans to American Spirits, and even Camel 9s (back before they started marketing it to women, and it was only SLIGHTLY odd for a man of my appearance to ask for "the pink ones"). I still smoke a pipe and cigars, so my taste-buds are a bit different from the standard smoker. I really, really really do enjoy the taste of good tobacco.
If anyone out there can point me in the right direction on good tobacco flavors to try, that'd be super. I do understand that it's all pretty subjective, and it also depends on what gear you're using, but I figure there's got to be a base-line, right? And in the short term, anyone try out either of CL's tobacco flavors?
Thanks in advance, and thanks to all those posters that helped me understand this wacky world of model-numbers, voltages, and liquids.
