update: just received my samsung inr18650-20q's today and jotted down some quick numbers on the 19... great battery!!!
aw imr 1600mah 18650 @ 4.14v
28awg kanthal .3ohm dc on an igo-w
fires @ 3.55v under load measured at the post w/ dmm (avg of three 2sec fires)
= .59 drop (11.83amps, 42watts)
samsung 2000mah inr18650-20r @ 4.15
28awg kanthal .3ohm dc on an igo-w
fires @ 3.46v under load measured at the post w/ dmm (avg of three 2sec fires)
= .69v drop (11.53amps, 39.9watts)
sony 1600mah us18650vtc3 @ 4.17v <~~~ shocked as i thought these would out perform the aw's lol
28awg kanthal .3ohm dc on an igo-w
fires @ 3.45v under load measured at the post w/ dmm (avg of three 2sec fires)
= .72v drop (11.5amps, 39.67watts)
conclusion, the sigelei #19 is a great mech mod AFTER some fiddling/modding lol.
the samsungs are rocking!!! i'll have to do more test with a low resistance and standard resistance setups but so far according to various charts and graphs online it looks like itll match if not out perform the aw imr 1600's at 10amps+-... wow
the sony us18650vtc3 batteries are great batteries for the price @ fasttech. comparable to aw imr 1600's at around 5amps... but if youre an slr vaper i'll have to suggest spending a little more on the aw's or samsungs.
