As to point #1, I found the same thing. It's not like my Roller in that regard. I'm not sure that's part of the design of the 69, but yea, the pin only fires in one of the two possible vertical positions for me as well. The good thing is that I always turn the switch counterclockwise to lock, so it's just remembering to turn it clockwise to unlock.
As to the firing - I haven't encountered what you have re: re-pressing to make contact. I've found that a 'soft press' definitely doesn't work, and when it stops firing while in my mouth, I realize that I've relaxed my pressure on the button while inhaling
.
I did have something that you may find in the future... mine stopped working altogether at one point after I was cleaning out the atomizer connection with a tissue (freshly filled tank, knew a drop would be there). The screw in there turns very easily (the reverse threaded one), so while putting a tissue in there and spinning it with a lot of pressure, I backed off the screw so a connection wasn't being made anymore! Of course, it took me 10 minutes to figure this out... took it apart, cleaned it, tried different batteries, etc.
- but it was a stupidly simple 'fix' if you even want to call it that. --- this may be your issue Cyclin ? Just remember that screw is reverse threaded, so raising it is the opposite of what you think.
