Have any of you tried the 6mL tank from the Copper Creek website:

Tank 6ml capacity

Just wondering, keep hearing about 5mL tanks but this one for $10, if it works pretty well seems like sucha great deal!

Unfortunately the cartos they sell are SmokeTek, which I've seen a couple bad reviews about. But of course will have to check them out for myself.

Anybody try this 6mL tank from the following web address?:

6 mL Tank

Seen a lot of talk about 5mL tanks but couldn't find any mention of anything larger.

Is it any good? For $10 even a decent output might be worth a look.

I have the 5ml smoktech and the 3ml and I like them both. Just remember, you have to buy the flanged cartos for them (regular Boge may work, but I haven/t tried those in the tank) and the bottom of the tank is different than the top. The bottom has a recess to accommodate the flange on the carto. You need to make sure the flange is seated properly in that recess so the tank does leak or spin on you. It makes it easier to screw onto your device.

Here's where I buy mine...they come with the carto and drip tip: SmokTech 5.0ml Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank - Nicotine Highway

Thanks for your insight and experience Vicsan. I'm guessing the Boge XLs won't fit these either, as the tank may be a bit longer than a 5 mL but will report back in a few weeks or so when I've had a chance to evaluate. I'll be getting the 5 mL one I've seen on here for $12 and this 6 mL one to try out different cartos and liquids.

Thanks again.

What PV are you using?

I have the smaller 3.5ml tank and I really like it. It's cheap and works well. I use the 3.5ml on an Epower.

The price is about avg for that tank on the link you provided, but I wouldn't get it from there.

The Smoktech tanks are supposed to come with a 1.5ohm dual coil carto in the tank AND a drip tip. That's what's BS about that vendor bc they took the carto and drip tip off, but are still selling it for $10.

You can get that same tank from Crystal Clear Vaping for $10.50. They list it as a 6.5ml tank but it's the same one as your link.
For $10.50 CCV gives you the tank and the carto and drip tip that are supposed to be included. Plus CCV has free shipping so it would only be $10.50 delivered. That's why that tanks such a good price bc you get a carto and drip tip as well for it. Your link took them out, but still charges the same price, which is BS.
Hoosier Ecig supply sells those tanks too for a good price as well as a few other vendors.

CCV and Hoosier also both sell prepunched replacement cartos for those tanks that have the metal base on them like the carto that comes with the tank. You don't have to use a carto with a metal base and can just punch a normal carto yourself. I like the metal base though bc it stops the tank from being able to slide down.
I use the 1.7ohm Ressurector cartos in the tank and they work awesome. I don't know what PV you use, but I don't like dual coils a lower voltages, so I use the Ressurectors Instead and they are alot better than the dual coil that comes with the tank.
Hoosier also sells the Ressurectors as well, which are really just the Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos.
I would buy it from CCV or Hoosier if you want to get prepunched cartos for it too bc they both have them.

Also check out VaporBeast too. They sell the bigger tank as well and for a really good price. Right now that tank is their deal of the day and it's only $8.99 which is an awesome price for a tank, prepunched carto, and drip tip. Even when it's not on sale, VaporBeast sells it for $9.69, which is cheaper than mOst other vendors sell it for. I think they have free shipping too, but I could be wrong on that

The XL boges will work in it. You just can use any regular size cartos in it, like the regular boges. As long as its an XL carto it should be fine.

Like I said before, you don't necessarily have to use a carto with the metal base, but it does stop the tank from sliding down, which will help prevent leaks. A normal XL carto will work fine though if you don't want to buy prepunched ones.

Also I recommend using a Big-Belly drip tip on the tank. They look Really nice and fit really snugly so they stay on. The reason i like them on the tank is bc they have a slightly wider diameter than the carto is so it stops the tank from sliding up. With a carto with the metal base and a big-belly drip tip, the tank wont be able to slide up or down which is nice bc you don't has to worry about it sliding and then leaking everywhere if it's in your pocket or something.
CCV and Hoosier both sell those drip tips too as well as a few other vendors

Thanks for this information Rob. I am currently just using cig look-alikes but will be pruchasing a Provari pretty soon, in the next few weeks. I'm excited about it, and just trying to figure out what accessories to get to enhance my experience with this awesome PV (according to the many Provari enthusiasts out there).

I will definitely check out CCV and the other vendors you mentioned!
