Just bear in mind that the link to south summit shows two sets of CR2s & neither specifically lists them as LiFePO4s (ie THE ones you want). The green ones that cost more are LiFePO4 & the yellow cheaper ones that come in packs of 3 I don't believe are & are therefore sketchier.

The yellow ones are regular (non-rechargeable) lithium batteries.

i dont think i will get the ones for the bb
i think i will just get the passthrough

also i dripped for the first time and all i hear is bubbles - lol
not really that much of a difference
maybe im doing it wrong anyway . . . . . . . . . .

6V with a 510 cart could melt easily (I usually cut the bottom millimeter or two off of a 510 cart with a razor blade & if ya wanna get really crazy I suggest using a poking device (paper-clip) to pull the two round tips/mouthpiece-side, one beneath the other, & drilling out the inside of the cart to make it hollow. Then you could either drip right through the cart itself or pop the top circular piece back- either way you'll get improved ventilation & ZERO chance of having fluid suck up towards your mouth which could be the cause of the bubbling sound your hearing as it gets wedged between the two circular caps near the mouth end). The other potential cause of the bubbling is simply too much fluid. With a 510 atty drip no more than 3 drops onto the bridge. An 801 can take 6+ (& you don't have to deal with modifying those carts, just pull off the white filler that holds the poly-fill ). Hope this helps some. ;)

i will try that later when i understand what you just said - lol
maybe someone can do a video or something

ive noticed that once i use batteries right out of the charger its very very harsh then after a while the sb gets a little less harsh and its perfect right then

i think i will continue to use the carts and do a tea mode or something to try that until i can really see what you are talking about

the only other problem im having is the juice = gets very expensive
even though nothing compairs to spending $10.00 for a pack of cig like i used to do.
i ordered some diy stuff today so hopefully i can save some coins without having to keep buying premixed

when altsmoke release their new juices maybe they should have diy stuff too
i think in the future more will tend to go that route

I found DIY seems cheaper but looking over my bank statement, I don't think it worked out that way. It's certainly fun, but now I get high quality 'base' flavors to which I add custom flavoring. After trying scores of flavors in a little over two months I think I've settled on a couple I love, leaving me plenty of dessert vapes.

On the cartridge modification, I believe he was saying to take the blank round tip 510 cartridge and insert a paper clip into the little hole to pull it out. Inside, you'll see an area where juice tends to collect. If you want, you can drill out the 'shelf' inside there and re-insert the cap. Or you can just leave the end cap off and 'tailpipe'.

i know im a little late on this discussion, but i only use the blank dummy carts that came with my attys from a different supplier...they are similar to when you pop out the inside of the 401 carts...completely hollow with no chamber for filling...i thought you could do that too with the 510 carts but you cant so ive stuck with these dummy carts...i think ill find out if i can get more of those and ill let yall know

might be what Wylie calls "tailpipe" method lol

i should probably start a thread on this rather than posting it here, but since were on the subject: anyone having problems losing attys on the sb? i have a BSB that I only use with two sets of two 750 mah LiPo tenergy batteries, but I've also completely killed three otherwise reliable attys in the past two weeks (and currently out of town on holiday without any working vaping options)... I drip, and make a point to keep them moist without flooding, but idk what i'm doing wrong... does it just come with 6v territory?

Yes 3.7v will usually only pop if you are trying to do so. The batteries that you purchased, can you verify that they are 3.0v batteries and not 3.7v. They should read 3.4v fully charged when you test with a meter.

yeah ive had the sb for about a month now and lost 2 attys
not a big deal because i expect it since i am constantly using it
all day and all night
i think its about right

well the DIY stuff is saving me cash
the only thing i buy now is no nic cherry coke flavoring

i have a ton of vg and pg
got some methol liquid instead of crystals
and i got a big bottle of nicotene

i can see a big difference in my wallet than spending it on the premade juice

im using the tea bag mod with the slits going around the atty
pretty good

can someone make a cart for the 510 that is a little longer?
to hold more juice?
