True but the only problem with that is that it drops the voltage down too much. The ohms are soo much higher in the HV attys that they don't allow much more than 4v from a 6v batt config. So with that being the case I might as well just stick with 3.7v.

I also don't want to buy 7.4v batts, I've spent enough on batts already... (I own 8 cr123's and 2 cr123 chargers and 2 18650's and a 18650 charger) all in all I've spent I believe $120 or so on batts and thats enough. I'm talking more along the lines of a real cheap easy mod I can make to drop the voltage of my batts down to 5v so they wont go through my attys as fast. Like the adapter they have for the GLV and Xhaler. :D

Wrong. He now sells attys at 4.5ohms which drop the voltage down to 5 volts. I have a Chuck and Prodigy V2 and when I have the HV atty on my chuck it vapes like my V2 which is a 5 volt pv.

I just ordered one of those 4.5ohm 801's myself along with some HV juice. Not because I was burning out attys but a lot of the juice I have taste burnt at 6v. I'm actually having good luck with standard 801 attys. Burnt out one in the beginning but it was very old and used. The one I'm using now has been on there a week and still kicking.

Only problem is I have about 15 brand new joye 510 attys and I really want to use them. It'll be a waste of money if I don't. :(

Sell them on here and use the money to buy some hv ones. If you keep them wet almost to the point of flooding them you won't burn them up. I use standard ones when I want 6 volt vaping with TV atomic fireball and haven't lost one yet. With most liquids I've tried at 6 volts I get that burnt taste so I use hv atty's with them.

I'm really trying not to fork out anymore money for attys or batts though. Thats where an adapter will come into play to get me down to 5v. So thats the main thing I'm looking for. Does a chuck adapter exist or if not does anyone know how to make one?

No it doesn't exist.

You could make one, just figure out what sized resister you would need and make an adapter from 1 old battery and 1 old atomizer. Old atomizer to chuck, old battery connecter to current atomizer. You can possible use the tube (old battery housing) as the casing, just cut off a bit (go to lowes and use a small one there, no need to buy one) stuff the battery connector on one end, see if you can get the atomizer connecter in, you may need to flare the pipe a little. A wire running through the middle to connect centerposts and hold the resistor and thats it.
