I would highly recommend XHV atties from Ikenvape. They are rated at 5.2 ohm which is perfect for 7.4V vaping, offering about 10.5 watts (heat). I use them in my Chameleon with two 3.7V AW IMR 16340 batteries and they rock! They never really get too hot to touch and never give that burnt taste. IMHO, as good as it gets!

Leave watts out of the equation.
I don't know who started all this watt stuff.

To vape at 8~8.5volts you need a differential of at least +2.5 volts over ohms.
so around 5.5 ohms is perfect.
+ 3 volts is ok but it's a harsher vape.

Forget carts...only dripping.
Forget 510's only 801.
Forget normally fabricated 801's
Forget any HV 801's out there.
Forget having to break in an atomizer...if you have to break it in, or any other silly excuses. It's not working.

A good HV 801 atomizer, correctly made, will give tons of vapor (cold vapor), and make a 10 mg liquid taste as if it's a 60 mg liquid.
A correctly built 801 will last for ages at 5.5 ohms, and over time will deteriorate to lower ohms values.
After 8 weeks or so you can use it to Vape on 4 volts, because resistance has fallen.

voltage squared divided by resistance = watts.

watts = power.

power = heat

without power, you get no heat, you get no vapor.

The watt is a measure of energy conversion, current flow to heat, for instance.

Voltage and current really only play background roles. Power is what makes these things possible. Think of a light bulb: same principle, electricity flows through an element to create light and heat. The higher wattage (more power) bulb, the more light/heat.

The exact same principle is what makes pv's work, although on a much smaller scale.

10 watts of power is very, very consistent regardless of what atomizer i am using; a standard 510, 510 carto, 306, etc. Regarding vapor, throat hit, and flavor, 10 watts is 10 watts. Now to reach that 10 watts, I had to vary the voltage slightly, but that's easy when you work at an electronics test bench.
