70% isopropyl alcohol good enough?

Trying to clean my mini protank 2 from a horrible tasting e juice I used. All I got is 70 percent I know most ppl here say to use 90 but is this good enough?

Keep in mind too that im just cleaning the tank and putting a brand new coil unit in so I wont have to be getting the juice flavor lingering in that piece at least

I wouldnt use 70% to clean a plastic tank
It may melt the plastic
Besides that it has other things in it that may not be healthy

I have seen 70% melt tobacco pipe stems

Alcohol is to clean out gunk left from burnt e-liquid. Being that you are changing the coil, clean/soak your tank with white vinegar to remove flavors you dont like. Then wash out the tank with soap and water.

.... well I had already put it all in the alcohol I left it in there for about 15 mins before I took it out, the middle plastic piece seems undamaged I havnt looked at the orings yet I just put them in some hot water for now after rinsing them a few times

Hopfully all the taste will be gone I think it is bc I cant smell the flavor off the undesirable juice anymore on it like I could before the soak

to ecf dielonnn. Always someone here to help answer just about any questions here. That is what is so wonderful about ecf. I personally use Everclear for most cleaning. You can also use the least expensive Vodka. Good luck to you.

I've had good results with washing it out with cold or warm water then place it in a cup with hot water from my Krueger coffee maker for 5-10 mins. I then reasemble, fill the tank with Everclear, give it a good shake, let it sit for 5mins, empty it out and let it dry. I would switch to glass tanks instead of plastics especially since some ejuice can crack the plastic. Hope this helps.
