I was just looking at that, then it dawned on me that we weren't talking about a simple 18650 either...not only do you have to spend $700 but after you do so you need to install a LiPo pack that your source and purchse in the thing yourself?! Someone go get me some of what they're smoking over there. For $700 I really didn't expect this
*Battery NOT Included*

Edit: Double shock, the recommend battery packs they have linked are only 1000mah!?!?! WHAT!? 250W capable and 1000mah battery you've got to be joking!

1x Titanium Variant Slim by Vicious Ant
2x Extra Micro Dean Connector

Disclaimer: This is an ADVANCED DEVICE. You need to know how to install the Lithium Polymer battery in correctly. THERE IS NO REFUND/RETURNS ON THIS PRODUCT.
You probably need a 3S for utilizing the full potential. Which means sacrificing more capacity to fit an additional cell in there.
how do you not know about the VariAnt by now?
this price is par for the course
yup, solder yourself
beware of the rhino lipos. it's been a while, but last i heard, they're not exactly stellar performers.
you'll also need a balancing "hobby charger" instead of the typical cylindrical cell chargers we use... and a li-po sac. i assume that's why "2 extra" micro deans. one for the battery, one for the charger. you'll need male 4mm bullet connectors and noodle wire for most chargers also.
Never heard of the $700 titanium slim version.
Not that it matters in any way... I just find it a bit amusing that they link to $5-6 Lipos at HobbyKing for use in their $700 mod. It's the Fasttech of the RC world.
Is titanium that expensive?
No, but exclusivity, elitism and and collectibility are.
Just ask the "high end" mod owners about their fancy metal tubes.
