I have all three. The 510 atty will work on a 702 battery but a 702 atty will not work on a 510 battery. The threads are the same and it will screw on but the 702 connector is so short it does not make contact with the post inside the 510 battery.
Attys here are 510 on top 702 in the middle and a 401 on bottom.

hmm... okay still pretty new to all of this. But I'm pretty sure that I have seen that there is an adapter allowing KR808D-1 cartomizers to be used on a 510. Which, from what you've written here, then means that I could get one of these adapters and use KR808D-1 cartomizers on my m702?
That would be great since the carts that come on it are such a pain in the a**.
Has anyone already tried this? And if so, how do they perform?

OP: sorry for the off topic question

Houdini: you put 702 battery when you meant 702 atty (not being a jerk but just in case you want to fix it) ;)

And a 510 atty will kill a 702 battery before you can blink! ;-)

Before Altsmoke had theirs, I made my own KR808D-1 carto adapter for my 510. And yes, with that I can put a carto on my 702 battery. Looks strange as all hell though....

Hey if I can use it when I'm on the go without having to refill that tiny lil cart after every 10-12 drags then I can deal with it looking a little strange ;)
Thanks for the info.
