So I was at work yesterday and a "kid" I work with was out of smokes looking to bum one for his break. He asked me if I smoke, and I said not anymore. I vape! So that's the good part. But geeeeez since that moment I have been having a killer craving for a cig! I have been vaping non-stop since then lol.

But seriously, this is really making me mad. I would have expected the craving to have left by now. But nooooooooo. It's probably all that bragging I have done about how easy it was to quit.

Anyway, to get my mind off things I have been playing with that silly app Bitstrips

I am sooo put off by the cig smoke smell now! I am surprised about it too. Now every time a smoker passes within 20 feet I swear I can sniff em out. I want to chase them down and say,, "You don't have to smell like an ashtray anymore! Vape this and you can smell like cupcakes!"

I don't hate the smell of cigarette smoke per se; I hate the smell of stale cigarette smoke- esp if it's in an enclosed place. Like really!!! Open a window or something. I hate it when that stale smell lingers outside in the air too. Ever walk by it- the person(s) who was smoking is no longer there but it smells rank.

Trust me. If you don't like the smell, the taste is a heck of Alot worse if you have been vaping for a few weeks. I tried a drag a few weeks ago out of curiosity, and had to gargle with vodka( I did swallow it afterwards...heehee) to get that nasty taste out of my mouth. Just think of that when you have craving.

The smell is pleasant compared to the taste.

I can relate. I think after I got enough gear to start vaping, I didn't dual use, it wasn't until 3 days vaping exclusively that I tried a RYO smoke from what tobacco I had left over. I rolled it up and lit it, and it was terrible. So I didn't have a smoke since then for over two months, I have been only vaping.

But recently anxiety/depression got worse and one night about 2 weeks ago when I couldn't sleep and had drunk too much I just walked to a shop and bought a pack and smoked one. $20 a pack here! I won't be doing that again.
Quite strange really, because it had been so long since my last, it tasted different, actually tasted like I remember them tasting the first time I had one.

I know people that have not had a cigarette in 20 years that say they still want one now and then, for many I think it's a lifelong battle.

I don't want a cigarette around smokers, but sometimes they smell good. I'd rather vape my RY4 though, I like it better to be honest.

I used to be embarrassed to come in from a smoke break smelling the office up. Heck you couldn't even sneak out for a smoke.... Everyone could smell you before they saw you.

Funny, I had a strong craving this afternoon, too. Right out of the blue.

I hit my regular tobacco vape pretty hard and it dissipated but it was an anomaly. Maybe it's something in the air...lol

I kid you not, we were in a parking lot last week and I sort of smelled (the stench of) cigarette smoke. Looked around and couldn’t see anyone smoking. Stood there like a stooge turning round and round until I saw somebody about 150’ away walking to his car smoking a cigarette. It was slightly windy and it just blew me away that I could smell it that far away. I used to smell like that. Now I smell like a little key lime or a big honking pot of coffee. I really gotta get the cupcake thing going.

Went to the performance of "Million Dollar Quartet" Wed. night. Toward the end of it, 3 of the characters were standing "outside" together, all smoking & talking together (real cigs were used in the play). It looked so....familiar, I guess; I really experienced the desire to be smoking with them! First urge I've had for quite a while.
