I definitely have moments when the thought of cigarettes comes wafting through. But when that happens, I just remind myself - I quit smoking for a reason. I quit because I treasure life. I quit because I value my children and my future - because I want to live with health and see my daughter grow up, go to college, get married and have children of her own. I quit because I am too old to smoke! It looks terrible on me! And smells bad too!

I quit because life is a gift and I appreciate it every moment.

Now vaping, it is a wonderful and enjoyable hobby. If you need to tweak the juice or the equipment to see you through a hard patch, you can - and it's easy to do.

Don't ever pause in your pursuit of the perfect vape, and don't ever look back.

The fact is that you are a better person for making this change, and you are saving your own life. Maybe you are saving the lives of those around you too. That is noble, and beautiful. Enjoy that knowledge and live it.

I keep a higher nic mg in one tank and a lower one in another. I vape the stronger at work and the lighter at home. I know when I am getting a tough craving and switch to pure tobacco flavor at high mg when that strikes. I get through it and move on, but not without renewing my dedication to NOT light another analog ever again.

I agree with those who suggested upping the nic level. 12mg is low for many new vapers. This fixation by some on ECF that all vapers must lower their nic levels to 0 is not helpful to new vapers (and many vet vapers, also). Let's stop playing into the hands of the ANTZ's by demonizing nicotine. Many of us suggest that whatever nic level you need to stay free of analogs is a good thing, whether it be 2, 6. 12, 18, 24 or 36mg. Don't be afraid to up the nic level (or lower it). Just experiment until it works for you.

Nicotine has been proven to have health benefits also
