I'm sorry for so many questions, but I have a couple of batteries that are acting strange - at least I think they are.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I started using a new atomizer and now two batteries flash RED at random times. I know the green flash means the battery is dying or dead, but the red? I would try another atomizer, but I loaned the rest of my 801 kit to my daughter for a trip she's on this weekend. And I seem to have lost the extra atomizer I kept. Also, the batteries don't seem to be lasting as long as they should. Does the atomizer affect the battery? Sorry, I'm so confused!

I didn't know some 801 batteries had multi colored LED(s)? As far as I know, it's the number of flashes, not the color of LED that's telling you that the battery's out.... (Of course, the charger has 2 color LED, which shows when its charged - green - and when charging - red).

Anyhow, I have Beci's 801 kit, and it does flash quite often - because the battery switch is super sensitive. I usually disassemble the battery when not in use - because its quite sensitive and I don't want to burn my atomizer.

As per your atomizer - your might be a compatible model (rn4071 - forgot the model #) which runs hotter = which means it draws more power from your battery, while producing more vapor. That could be one of the reason that your battery is running out quicker, but I could be wrong. Maybe your battery's not fully charged, etc etc...?

It took me a couple of days to figure out the flashing. As I understand from my owners manual, it will flash if you use it more than 16 times in one minute, like 4 seconds, or if you inhale for more than 5 seconds. Those are to warn you about overusage. It will flash about 10 seconds to let you know the battery is almost dead and needs recharging. Hope that helps but I'm not sure all batteries work the same.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to this thread. Thanks for all the replies.

This is just a regular 801 from Heaven's Gifts. What I mean by two colors is this: When you inhale, the red (orange, really) indicator lights up to simulate a cigarette. When the battery is about to go dead, or if you've inhaled too much, the green light flashes. What mine is doing is the red (orange) flashes, even when I'm not vaping. It does it even when it's just laying on the table, not being used at all. I just put a newly charged battery on about an hour ago and it has already started flashing red. I can't figure out what it means, it's still working for the moment, but usually the battery goes dead shortly after the red flashing starts.

Sorry my post was confusing, but does anyone know what this means? FWIW, I've only noticed it doing this on the one atomizer I have with me now. I have not noticed it when I was using the atomizer I can't find, but this is happening with both a brand new battery and one I've been using for about two weeks. Thanks in advance for any help.

So far, tapping it on the table seemed to have helped. Thanks, arnoman.

I sure hope they're not duds - I have more coming from Heaven's Gifts and it seems more trouble than it's worth to send them back if they're defective. Sort of the price you pay for buying cheap from China. LOL But let me hasten to say that everything I've ever gotten from Heaven's Gifts has been perfect.
