801 Carts / Funky Taste Question

Ok so I was puffin away on my JS abit ago, having just filled my cart. All of a sudden a foul melted plastic flavor hit me. 8-o I immediately pulled the cart off and checked it. The side that makes contact with the atty was dry and there was some juice further up it that hadnt made its way down yet. I picked an old cart and ripped off the mouthpiece so I can do some dripping till I get a repl but here is the question:

Is there a better substance I can use for "juice Holding" in the cart other than this stuff that frankly resembles poliester batting? Something that wont produce such a nausiating flavor when it gets dry, or will at least allow for better juice flow?

Any help is appreciated!

Quite a few people have been suggesting Lipton Pyramid teabags. I've been using felt here recently though at the suggestion of one of our forum members. A small roll of felt with an airhole in the center. It wicks well, fills quickly, holds plenty of juice and I haven't had a burned taste since I started using it.

And that would be? I wash the batting out with hot water once a day. I keep it topped off while in use. I had literally just topped it off before taking 3 puffs. The 4th is where I got the taste, pulled the cart and saw the front half dry.

Also the same thing happened later last night with a new prefilled cart. Which has never happened to me before.Could this be an attomizer issue then?

FIXED!!!! I tried the straw in the cart mod and chain vaped the cart nearly dry with no foul taste. I guess it was just a wicking issue.

Yeah, the straw mod rules! And so easy to do. I've seen a few people have trouble pulling it off, but I found that if you really follow the directions it's near foolproof (on my 510 anyway).
