801 Top Cap

Does ANYONE know if it is easy to replace the TOP caps on the Buzz Pro? I have the 510 top cap, but I ordered an 801 and I wanted to know if it is easy to replace? I see the screw in the center to take it off, but was wondering if I should be cautious about the internals?!

Yes, it is easy. I switched 808 to 801 a couple weeks back.

There is a sticky on changing top caps.

Freddie, trust me when I say this....if I can do it, anybody can!!!! I have no skills whatsoever when it comes to fidding with stuff...NONE! I have a hubby who has spoiled me from learning to do stuff like this simply because he lives for that crap. If you follow that sticky on changing the top cap out, it's easy peesy!

Yup...easy, just be gentle when you unscrew the top cap and make sure mot to break the ring terminal loose from the red wire! Hope you are mentally recovering from your burglary and getting some donations!!
