Over the past couple of days, when I push the button to use my KR808D-1 from Cigeasy, it is hit or miss. Sometimes nothing happens and I have to push the button multiple times to get it to work. Sometimes there is no problem. This is happening on both batteries so I am wondering if I am really getting a full charge in my PCC.

From what I have ready about PCCs in general, the top light is the indicator for the PCC and the bottom light is for the battery. My lights never change color, they are either on or off. The bottom one (battery) is currently cycling through a solid on off with an occasional flash on. Does the pattern of on/off and flash mean anything?

Also, is there a way to tell that my battery is running low before it is actually out? Can this hit and miss activity be indicating that my battery is low?

TIA for your help!

Wow quietquitter you got a lot of things going on with all of these buttons, different colors and flashing lights between the battery and whatever type of PCC you are using?

Are you using the XL smart PCC or the travel PCC?

I have purchaced 3. 1 i gave as a gift and works fine as far as I could tell. The other two were going to be gifts to anyone wanting to try vaping but both were wonky. One did nothing, the other would blink in a regular pattern and the battery that was charging would blink like it was just plugged in once in a while. It never stopped doing this. So one I converted into a carry case for 4 batteries and the other just sits. These seem to have shoddy electronics. I really like the look of the New Style but they only work with the shorty 808 batts. I think you have a bad egg on your hands

Oh didn't fully understand at first. Ok yes I think your charging case is the culprit. If you have a usb charger throw em on there. If not you can get one for $6 HERE I won't be getting any more of that pcc design. Just looked up that case is it this one? If so disregard my previous post. But I still bet it is the charging case if both batteries are having the same problem.

ok your original post is very confusing for some reason. If you are pushing the button to activate the battery (right?) it sometimes won't fire. if you keep pushing it sometimes it works fine. (right?) So it's just hit or miss. If it works fine sometimes but won't fire other times then you have bad batteries/switches. If they were not charged when you push the button to fire your battery, it would blink 10 or 15 times. This lets you know they are dead. If they just do nothing or fire sometimes your batteries are defective. You really need to restate your problem because it's very confusing the way you wrote it.

Yes! This is what I have. I haven't had an analog in 15 day now and I am paranoid that I am going to run out of batteries! I don't want my lack of batteries to send me back to smoking. Unfortunately I didn't order any other chargers with my initial purchase.

So....I was going to order a different charger and some extra batteries but then I found I could get a Riva 510 for just a little bit more.

Sorry for the confusion. I wondered if I had a problem with the battery or the manual buttons on the battery but then I thought it would be weird for them to both start acting up at the same time. That's why I started wondering if they were getting fully charged. Since there was no manual/instructions that came with my kit I really don't know how this pcc is supposed to work or what the batteries would do if they were starting to go dead.

Oh no problem I figured it out eventually :) Ya I think the two batteries may just have a switch problem. If they came from a bad batch they would have the same problem. Contact the vender of the pcc to understand whats what with that. I think getting the riva is a good idea. The battery life is sooooo much better then the little batts. Just so you know that is a 510 battery connection so you will need an adapter to use any kr808 stuff you have. Good luck.

Emailed support@cigeasy.com on 6/21 and have received no reply. Just emailed you the other day. At this point, I would not recommend cigeasy.com to anyone. Luckily I ordered my Riva from Liberty-Flights and love it. Just wish I wouldn't have wasted that $49.95 at cigeasy!

Hi quietquitter,

It looks as if you finally contacted Technical Support at
ssv2@cigeasy.com
on June 29th, 2011 at 9:34pm EST and were responded to within 24hrs.

Always check your spam folder as many times this has been the case in the past.

In any event, I resent the original e-mail response again today. :)

Please PM if for some reason you are still not getting these?

SSV2 - I honestly wasn't complaining that YOU hadn't responded yet. I had "just" sent you an email and you have responded to me. I could have worded my post better. What I was upset about is that I sent an email to the support address listed on the website. If I hadn't been on this forum I wouldn't have gotten your email address and the only one I would have is the support@cigeasy address which isn't responding. I didn't mean to make it sound that YOU hadn't followed through. I do want to figure out the problem with the KR808 because I have been trying to get my husband to use it when we can get the one battery charged.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help me with this.
