I still can't believe vaping was this cheap to get into, and as effective as it is. I've planned on upgrading, but I still don't see a need to based on how reliable these CE4's have been for me. I have a few rebuildable CE5's too, but I notice that juice sometimes seeps out of the joint on the bottom. Never w/ the CE4's tho. They're prone to a bit of juice in the center hole if you can't always keep it upright, but even then, it's an easy fix. I think I've had nice success cuz I don't overuse them - I constantly rotate 7-8 w/ different flavors. If you're using the same 1 constantly, it's worse wear and tear, and then if it starts leaking it sucks if you're relying on it. I'd already bought 15 or so I've been using the past couple months, and I've only taken 1 out of commission so far. But now that I'm into DIY, I love having a brand new clearo for a new flavor. I don't like mixing flavors together unless it's something I planned on doing. To any newbies/lurkers, this is the route I'd recommend tho, getting 5-10 clearos right off the bat. Cuz you have the ability to sample a bunch of flavors, and then if you do you have any leaky issues, you have no disruption to your vaping while you work on it. When I 1st started reading the forums I'd see a lot of ppl talking about the "fake knockoffs on ebay", but there's definitely good gear to be had for cheap if you do your research. Vape on.

As you will be told several times make sure you educate yourself on battery safety. I am on an iPhone or I would search and post a link for you to read.

Is that in regard to Igo's or dripping in general? I'm looking to buy 1 that comes w/ a coil already done up, so I don't have to build the 1st 1 myself.

Look around for the sticky about battery safety before delving in to an RDA like the Igo-l. It's a fine dripper but will a require bit of homework on your part. Another, cheaper, option is the smoktech squid RDA. The one I got came with a prebuilt coil. I don't remember you mentioning how you were powering this on.. That comes into play as well when you get into building coils..

It definitely gets expensive once you decide your ready/want to get mods/mech. Glad to see you found a nice starter that fits you. None of the starter kits I bought really worked for me, I had to go and get an ego and pro tank. Cheers! Happy vaping

I hate when people call clearos starter gear. I'd like to think I'm beyond starter gear. 5 batteries, 2 of which vv/vw mods, and one mech. Over 50 bottles of juice from different vendors around. At least 25 different things I can connect to them from clearos, cartos, RBAs and RDAs. And at least half of those are iClear 16 clearos. I love those things. Dual coil, 1.5 ohm - 2 ohm, great flavor production and awesome vape. But to call it a starter because they are cheap and clear and plastic is not right. In fact, I just picked up a 510 to eGo adapter so I could put them on my mech with a kick.

I just hate seeing people talk down about clearos and being for noobs. In fact two buds who have been vaping waaaay longer than I have use clearos of some sort still. One on his 650 mAh eGo, and the other on his K101 with a kick. If it works, it works. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's not for beginners. In fact, some of the most expensive stuff in a shop is the starter kits. Hell, just go to fasttech and sort their items by price. Starter kits are the most expensive things there.

I just feel the use of "starter" needs to be swept under the rug by a lot of people here. Just take a look at the setup pic thread in the new members forum and look at all the people using ProTanks on mods and see if the word starter still needs to be used as a descriptive word for clearos.

if your tanks are leaking at the seem on the bottom where the plastic meets the metal band
the base screws in its became unseated.
place the tank on a hard flat surface, grab the tank and with a firm even increasing pressure press
down until the tank re-seats into the sleeve.
never put one of these type devices in your pants pocket.
make sure shirt pockets are not to tight.ckeck the seam after dropping.
make sure when wearing a jacket it does'nt fit to tightly,it will flex your device
when moving and could cause the tank to un-seat.

I've had that happen before w/ a CE5, but I think this tank (cinnamon bun) is leaking at the seam below that, where it's metal screwing onto metal. It's not a large amount of leaking, and it's not inside the battery, but it's a continuous round circle of juice right around the rim wherever it's sitting. I've always tried making sure the CE5's were screwed together tightly, but it will literally keep twisting. It'll get tighter as you twist, but then you'll feel it loosen a bit as if the threading is broken, and around again it'l spin. I dunno if it's a loose gasket or if it's the juice, but these are the main gripes I have w/ CE5's. I could see them being useful if clearo's cost $5-10 a piece, and it was worth buying new coil heads for $1-2, but I can get a brand new clearo for $1-2, and the CE4's just seem more reliable to me overall..

Be careful with the cinnamon. I had that problem with my mountain dew j3illy. Then the top came off completely. Turns out the juice was eating the glue and plastic. I didn't know about tank cracking juices. So I bought another thinking it was just messing up. Did it again. Then I went to vivi nova tanks. And the tank was all foggy looking. The juice was destroying everything I put it in. Use only Pyrex or metal for those kinds of liquids

I'm only keeping the Cinnamon Bun in that 1 CE5. I don't see any type of damage/corrosion on it tho, and now that I think of it, it was seeping the same way w/ the last Mocha juice I had in it. It's a tiny amount, but it's still annoying and it's why I prefer the CE4's. Do absolutely ALL Cinnamons have issues w/ plastic tanks? I also vaped a ton of a B&M Mountain Dew in these tanks and never had issues. I got a Mountain Dew flavoring w/ my DIY stuff, but it's doesn't compare to that 1. Had such a nice sweet/sour almost carbonated kick to it.
