I just recently bought 2 of the VV 900 VV Ego batteries from Healthcabin and so far I am very happy with them. I get plenty of vaping time out of both of them and like being able to switch between the different voltages. I am though, having a weird issue and it happens with both batteries. When they are fully charged and I first start using them. I usually like using them at the middle voltage 3.7v. Usually after the first 5 or 6 vapes, the battery wil cut out and the LED's will go out while still pressing the button. It is as if the battery shorted out. When I push the button again, it will be at the default 3.3v so I wil push the button 5 times to go back to 3.7v. Within about 5 or 6 more vapes, the same thing will happen again. It will do this a couple more times but then for the rest of the day, the battery will be fine. Like I said, it happens on both batteries. My regular cartomizer is the Boge XL LR carto. I have tried cycling through all 3 voltages on first using a charged battery and that has had no change.

Seeing that this only happens at the beginning of the freshly charged battery, it is just kind of a minor annoyance. It is also stil well within the warranty period so I am good there in case I decide to do a return. But before contacting Healthcabin, I was just curious if any one else is experiencing the same issue?

I have one such battery, also from the Cabin. Same behavior, take it of the charger, strand it on my neck (use this one and boge cartos for driving to work), switch to middle voltage, it drops to lower in a couple of vapes. If I set back to middle - it repeats. I never had the patience to do this more than 2-3 times, I just switch to higher voltage where it stays :) I will try and see if I can set mine to keep the middle voltage.

My conclusion after seeing your post - it's a design flow :glare:

Today, starting with a freshly charged battery, I jumped it right up to the 4.2v and vaped it about 5 or 6 times. I then changed it down to 3.7v and it didn't die at all. I also didn't need to wait for it to drop one LED. Thank you sheik124 for that tip.... So far this seems like it's going to be my favorite battery with the Riva 1100mAh a close second. I came close to giving the Kgo a try but I think I will be holding off on that for awhile. The only thing lacking is the turn on/turn off feature to prevent misfires in the pocket which both the Ego VV and the Riva lack. That would make these perfect.
