901 / 510 battery Polarity ?

Long story short I use mostly 901 and m40X atty's but have many 510 battery's that I use with my 901 attys and an adapter. My dog literally ate my 510 charger cord.

So I was wondering if I could use the thread adapter and charge 510 battery's with a 901 charger ? Or would I be reversing polarity and blowing up battery's ?

They have to have the same polarity because you can use adapters with them but I don't know about the voltage and charging rate being the same.
