901/510 Stainless screen cart mod?

Any modders here doing this one? seems like you can get the cart all the way full and no burnt poly taste.

Wonder is this guy will post it up to Hoogie's mod forum if some one asked him?

Got my stainless screens and made 4 wicks. Three of them look pretty good. first one went in crooked. will try the same thing when the 801 adapter and carts show up. Be nice to load a ml in a cart and have it ready to go. Hope its not going to be a leaky mess, but the folks that have done it say its perfect.

Will report in a day or two. all my ecigs are dead except the 510 disposable, and I'm hoping it runs till attys show up. Btw I got 9 charges out of it so far, so that is helping. Soon as the batt is dead I will start a mod box. simple 14500 version first.

OK I got the attys with the empty carts and installed the first stainless screen mod. Carefully allowed the tip of the atty to push it back to the correct spot, filled it with juice and then......nothing. So I took it apart and everything was in order. filled with the full 15 drops of juice, no leaking, then it hit me. I was running a capillary action to a dry atty. Couple drops to fill it full and transfer the first juice to the blown out clean and dry atty, and the juice flows.....

This is the cleanest, most flavorful vape EVER! (and I have tons of parts and pieces and tried most all of them) The tea baggers can do as they wish, the poly folks can burn their poly, but I am in vapor heaven....

Will report back after a full try out today.

UPDATE:

Still no leaks and the vape lets through flavor components that heated poly just does not. Never going back to factory carts. It also seems to stop some of the metalic mesh taste, I am assuming by pulling heat from the metal mesh during the vape, and liquid transfer.

Now the mod is a pain and your going to screw a few up. Your going to get poked by the steel wires and it takes some time to get them into the cart after they come out of the form, but it will never be so worth it for you.

OK all day vaping two 901s. One cappuccino and one tobac. I hit the tobac a lot heavier and was able to get 6 drops in twice during the day. I got 4 drops into the capp. They take
a full 15 drops when dry. The flavor is pretty unreal compared to the throat burn from 36mg 510 model, and no melted poly taste. I dont see how one could get a good screen mod in a 510 but a couple folks did. The 901 was hard enough to form properly. Mine are very tight in the carto so they get a good connection every time they plug in. Waiting for the 801 carts next.

An 801 cart with this mod would be a true, all day vape, considering a single 901 cart worth of drops, vaped 2/3 of the day.
