901 battery doesn't work, but makes atomizer super hot

Have a 901 battery that is fairly new acting up. The led would not light up at all, whether when attempting to use it or when on the charger. No vapor or light,
I set it down for a moment while I went to get another battery, and when I came back the atomizer was ::really:: hot, and had actually semi-melted a cartridge. o_O I unscrewed it really fast and let everything cool down before trying the other battery. The other one worked fine, so the atomizer is okay.

I tried twisting a kleenex up and trying to swap it out, and then I tried blowing through the led end, and it lit up a few times, so I decided to try it again, and it got super hot.

I'm hoping there's a slim chance I can ressurect it, it's only about two weeks old. Has this happened to anyone, and were you able to fix it?

Yes I Agree!

I Would Like To Add To Be Careful Not To Bang Or Damage The Threads Or The Other End With The Cheap Plastic Ashcap (it breaks easy).

You Might Wanna Try Just Drop It Onto A Hard Carpet and Check It Each Time.

If Not, Be Sure to Get Plenty of Spares.

My batteries (Collection of Them!) Never Seem To Last Too Long For Me and I Don't Drip!

I Know Others Will Say Different, But Everyone Is Different.

Good Luck!

Keep Vapin!

Honestly- sometimes these things just happen. It sucks I know. My friend had one lose its top inside her charger. Growl. I have been thru three attys in 6 weeks. My advice is to get back ups of batteries and of attys. You will need them, and even with the costs of parts and shipping and juice, you will STILL not spend as much on that as you did cigarettes in one week.
These things are not built to be used like we are using them- the 901 is my fav but it can be a pain in the hiney. You can get parts very cheap from china, even if you have to wait a while for them.

I've given up on automatic batteries. They all eventually get in a condition where they don't activate or get stuck. Even the new ones I order have varying issues with sensitivity on each one I get; some are sensitive and some aren't. I like them to activate on light draws but it seems that the longer I use them, you eventually have to draw harder.

510 with manual battery all the way baby!!! Consistent, predictable performance every time.
