the 901 dosnt wick as well as other units like the 401, and what you are saying is pretty consistent with my 901. if it pools at 4 drops, put in 2-3, it dosnt vape well when "soaked". also try putting it down for a few minutes, and see if it starts hitting again, takes time for the liquid to move from the cart to the atomizer. I did end up adding like 3 drops every 15 puffs or so to the cart, as you describe. i've been using the "pilot" m401 now, and i find it much better in this respect.

Sun, I'm actually topping off the carts that came with it. Only had this cart 2 days I thought maybe...ok, stay with me here..lol. I thought the cart wool might be like a new bath towel, how they aren't terribly absorbent until you wash 'em a couple times? So I pulled out the cart wool, rinsed and dried thoroughly and refilled using Igetcha's method from the video. Still same thing. I'm not pooling the liquid on top, and leaving it in a vertical position for a few mins seems to give me a few more hits when the cart seems exhausted. Also can taste a change in the flavor when its running low. But when I pop off the cart to top it, sure enough, the wool is still pretty wet.

I don't seem to have to top off more than any of the other 901 users have posted. About 3 cigs worth of vaping and then 3-4 drops to top off. Just kinda curious how much liquid is left in the cart when it's "spent".
