901 mouth piece question.

It has been my experience that the standard 901 attys come with two different styles of mouth pieces. One is flatter, thinner at the tip with a longer, thin hole. The other is still squared, but fatter with a circular hole. Can anyone tell me a consistent source of the latter in attys and carts? The latter design never seems to give me 'juice in the mouth' issues, no matter how much I drip.

All mine are the same and I have ordered from different sites -- your source might be giving you the wrong parts?

The atomizers I bought had the square ones you're referring to, but the blank carts had the flatter ones. All came from Heaven's gifts. Since the ones that came with the atomizers had no stuffing, I've been using them when I just drip. Never tried stuffing one. Interesting....

I ordered six attys from myvaporstore.com, three of them had the flat mouth piece, three the square. I thought that was strange, but I much prefer the square. I almost always drip, so maybe I'll order attys from heaven's gift to make sure I get the square tips. I have three of them now, but I lose the little buggers sometimes and I really really prefer them to the flat ones.

From what I can tell 4 types of carts fit a 901, The thinner whistle type or cigarillo type, are the 901's. (Called the "true" 901) These usually come with your kit.

The fatter cigarillo type is what comes with the 4075. But I think it depends more on where the supplier orders from. I got these when I ordered some extra atomizers from a different supplier then I normally use. They were the "true" SLB 901 atomizer so it seems to be a crap shoot.

The orange round carts are the original 901's, they still come with some of the white 901's. (see east mall for a picture)

The round black carts are for the Janty Dura but fit the 901..a little bit loose, but not bad. ( see the janty dealer or Diet smokes for picture)

I have the Dura's for hubby who perfers a round cart, I just put a sticky dot on the edge to keep it from slipping out. Some fit perfectly, most do not. He also has the orange round but they look ugly with a black 901 even if they do fit.
They do hold more then the cigarillo flat carts but I don't like the feel in my mouth and I can't grip them with my teeth. The Black are harder and have flat ends, The orange are softer and have rounder ends.

I did several searches but couldn't find the thread that has pictures of the 2 different 901 cigarillo carts.

before you order send a P.M. to the dealer to ask which ones they have. I have always recieved the thin cigarillo when I order a bag of them.

I ordered a new set of 901 cars that are half circle at the filter end, and a thin mouthpiece. They seem to work better then the standard rectangle carts that come with the 901 kit.

There are two types of atomizers that are referred to as the 901.
The true 901 atomizer normally comes with the flat whistle cart. The other atomizer commonly referred to as a 901 is the RN4075 that usually comes with the square cart.

IMO the 901 atomizer runs cooler than the 4075 atomizer and produces better flavour.
The 4075 atomizer running hotter gives a better throat hit at the expense of some flavour.

In truth (at least my truth) the 510 (Dura) tip on a 901 works very well if not the best on a 901. And seems to have more cartridge fiber..
