901 passthrough = little thoat hit/vapour?

Hi all, been using a 901 for just over a month now, and just bought a passthrough and was wondering what other users have to say about this....

I dunno why but with the PT I need to draw waaaaay slower to get even a little throat hit....and this heats up the atty quite a bit which I don't wanna do too much as i suspect it will end up dying on me sooner...

I'm no electronics guru but if usb is 5v and batt is 3.7 i woulda thought the thoat hit woulda been better off the PT than the bat.

I find myself using the batt alot even at the computer just to get a decent throat hit and amount of vapor....

What are your thoughts on this?

I've never looked up to see what the output of my usb ports are on the computer but it takes @1amp to run the passthrough properly. I have my 510 pt on a 1amp usb wall plug at my computer rather than through the computer and it works as well as ecig batts.

It also depends on the PT, if you look around you can find 6v PTs that do well on the computer, you can also find PTs with a 3.7 rechargeable battery inline that gives you just a little more vapor and throat hit than a battery.

Hmm guess I gotta wait til I move... my misc electronics are all boxed up ( I know I have a wall USB adapter in there somewhere)
