i thought that it was my custom e liquid (which sucked) that didnt have a throat hit but i used a fresh cart with the out-of-the-box liquid inside already and there's no throat hit. Vapour is there... is the atomizer not getting hot enough?i tried both batteries, and the USB passthrough which i just received today. Same problem.

its a DSE901 btw

I would try cleaning your atomizer really well. I heard somewhere that if your juice was left in the car or somewhere hot, some of the nic dissipates, which could lead to loss of throat-hit.It could also be that you are getting used to the juice that you have, and adjusting to the throat-hit. I hope it comes back for ya!

tried that. Didn't work. Thank you for your help though. This is an awful experience i'm going through.

Tim from Vapesmart suggested I drip directly onto the atomizer. I get a bit of throat hit. Still no throat hit when I use a cart with either the default liquid and wool filling, or even a custom liqud with teabag filler. I notice that theres not as much vapor anymore. Even worse, one of my batteries ahs stpoped working. the LED lights up. This wasnt the problem before. Both batteries are fully charged. Now i'm just starting to get ...... off seeing how i've had the thing 4 days. As polite as Tim is in his email and as amazing he is at responding to every Email I send him, i'm considering just dropping this product and going with something or someone else altogether. I mean Tim doesn't know which devices are going to be lemons but the fact that

1) he made me wait almost an extra week because he was waiting on USB passthroughs to arrive. WHen they finally arrived, he mailed me everything but the passthrough. What was the point of waiting? he did eventually get me the passthrough via mail as soon as he realized.
2) I was expecting 2 batteries, 1 which had a blue LED. I got both Orange LED batteries. not a huge deal. But then i AM having an issue with one of them right now.
3) it's been about 4 days and the thing is basically broken

the first few days was a thumbs up. now it's a huge thumbs down. Definately not at Tim. He's amazing. The huge thumbs down is directed to the product which was provided to me. That specific battery and that specific atomizer. And if i were to get these things replaced, i'd probably have to mail it to him even though I could drive to his warden+lawrence address in literally 5 minutes. Or even the return address on the envelope in 10.

I got the kit on Tuesday. I charged each battery for 8 hours initially. I typically charge them about 3-4 hours after that. I've only charged each battery once after initial charge.

I only dripped into the att when Tim told me to. Aside from that, I used the carts that the cigarette came with.

I swear, right now i just want a refund on the unit or the ability to go PICK UP replacements or he meets me at a public place and just hands it to me (seriously, it's not more than 10 minutes away). That'd be amazing. He probably wont do that though. Love Tim's customer service but I'm straight up ...... off. I told three my friends "no. Let me use this for a few weeks before you buy it". Thank God i did.

The issue is definately the atomizer.
My seperate battery issue is a compeltely different incident.
So now i need the whole ecig replaced. yay.

sorry to be talking smack about vapesmart.

what i would do before giving up on this is 1. charge batt 3hr(again if to be sure) 2. plug center hole on batt end of atty(it doesn't need to be air tight) and GENTLY blow thru to make sure its not flooded.then remove plug and blow thru again. top of cart so its wet but not pooling at top, wipe off any liquid on threads(there will be some for sure now).also check and see if any liquid has made its way to the batt. hope this works for you
