got my 901 yesterday. it is working fine but i keep having a problem where the cottony stuff keeps getting stuck to the arch on the atomizer and when this happens i dont get very much vapor.

any idea on how to prevent this? it first happened when i tried to take the stuff out and wash it out so i could try a different flavor liquid, but i then tried a new cart out of the package and the same thing keeps happening..

Thats a great video but Scott said one thing that he thinks does not matter and IMHO it does matter.

If you are going to drip I think it is better to remove the batting from the cartridge. I have two reasons for thinking this.

#1 - if the batting in the cartdridge is dry it is going to draw liquid out of the atomizer. This principal is reinforced in the section where he shows how to drain the atomizer. When he rolls up the tissue and inserts it into the atomizer he explains it will 'draw out' the fluid by making contact with the arch of the atomizer. IMHO the poly fill will do the same thing.

#2 - the 901 cartridge has a chamber where the poly fill sits and a 'sleeve' next to the chanber that allows air/vapor to travel through the cart into your mouth. The vapor is created inside the chamber then travels into the sleeve. If there is batting in the chamber I believe it can inhibit the vapor moving out of the chamber.

So I think dripping with the poly fill in the cartridge will use up the fluid faster and it will also inhibit the vapor production.

I would also suggest using a paperclip to pop the end cap out of the cartridge as that seems to be a very limiting factor that makes it harder to draw on and reduces the amount of vapor in a drag.

anyone know if there is a video showing the best technique for this? i seem to be having trouble (yes i AM kinda ......ed)

or maybe a video on how to make the the fluval fish filters work well? perhaps a good post laying it out?

You kidding me? I was searching for this same exact subject! Had you not written about it, then I would have had to! lol

Remember; if it's happening to you, chances are, it's happening to others too!!

Off to watch the video now!

Now it's my turn to be deft, but I just had the cart day from hell and nothing was working. I swear I was topping off every 3-4 puffs...not analog equivelents; but puffs. And trying to fill my own today just wasn't working.
Thanks to everyone here, I did learn to prime the atomizer, so that wasn't the problem......at least I don't think LOL;)

ANYWAY: With the 901, what is the end cap you speak of? I've only been doing this for a little less than a week now and today I was wondering why in the world are there 2 cover/caps on the carts, weither they are pre-filled or blanks..... Are you talking about one of those caps?

Thank you so much for your assistance =)
