1 - With my 901 kit (not manual batt) the batt would flash right when I connected it to charge and then go off. The charger lights would go from red to yellow to green (charged). I did have some batts that would get charged and then start the whole blue flash and then back off like I just plugged them in. I would just take them out and use them - fully charged.

2 - Fill depends on a few things. Taking out the filler first? Dripping from top only? Straw mod? Tea bag mod?
I started by taking the filler out and adding 6-7 drops. Put filler back in and top off with 4-5 drops.

wow- ok, so the fill question was a bit more to it than I thought to mention..LOL

Empty carts, didn't take filling out.

If it's a completely dry cart, if memory serves correct, about 12-14 for me. Some folks like to use a syringe to fill from the bottom up. I use a paperclip bent out to push the filler aside and get the drops to the bottom. Once it seems pretty full I move the filler round and get some more drops in, then top it off with drops until it's really really wet but not pooling at the top.

Hope that helps somewhat. :)

One could re-use the carts that came with the kit by adding drops? Is that what you all mean by dripping? I know my question is probably dumb, but I'm one of those that wants to be clear on all these instructions (not that they aren't clear, but I didn't notice anyone say empty carts). I noticed they sell empty carts, but the "adding" etc is where I am lost.

yes, you can reuse. Eventually you will need to replace the fibers inside them. There are several materials that you can use when it's time.

I bought empty carts with my set, because I had no interest in the normal flavored cartridges that came with the kit, so in particular, I'm interested in filling an empty cart. But you can "top off" an existing cart as well, with your own bottled liquids.

You can 'drip' by putting a few drops of liquid directly on the atomizer bridge and then putting on an empty cart with no filler. Then you puff. This means there is no liquid stored in the cart material so you have to drip every time you start running out of vapor (anywhere from 3-10 puffs, depending on your PV and liquid). Some people report better flavor and throat hit and it's easier to switch flavors this way.

You can fill a 'blank' cart by taking a new cart with new filler (which you can buy in a 5 pack from vendors) and adding your own liquid. Annah was asking how many drops to add to blank cart to fill it. This is what I like to do because I don't like the prefilled flavors for the most part.

You can also 'top off' a cart by taking one that you've been using and adding new drops on the top. I usually add flavor on top of flavor and make my own mixes. For instance, I may be vaping peanut butter and when I get tired of that I'll add a few drops of chocolate. When I get tired of that maybe I'll throw on some coffee or vanilla. Anytime your atty seems to be getting dry or you're not getting vapor or flavor you can add some drops and top off.

Hope that helps clarify a bit mishelle. And welcome!
