How many people actually prefer the 901 to 510, seems the general consensus on forum is that more people prefer the 510. However I'm finding I actually prefer 901, taste is much better to me, throat hit is more than adequate, as well as vapor, just my .02 anyone else feel same? So far I'm really enjoying the 901, just thought I'd throw this out there.

I really only use my 901 when I am waiting for batts to charge on my 510.
This is assuming that I am away from a computer (work or home) because I made a USB direct passthrough from my 510 passthrough that fried.
I used the 901 direct passthrough made from the battery adapter for the manual VERY easily with a Radio Shack Battery box, and just changed it over to the 510.
VERY HAPPY with the 510 until batts have about 25% or less in them left.
Wanting to try the 801, but I am buying a house and waiting.

I use both 510 and 901 atomisers on my Screwdriver.

You are right and you are wrong. The best e-cig is the one you like the most. Whatever the reason.
Mine 901 stuff is collecting dust (but could always be resurrected at some other time) since the 510 arrived. I think the 510 delivers more vapor and that delivers the nicotine better. The 901 didn't seem to deliver as much, was more prone to flood, harder draw (auto battery), and everything had a bit of an "ozone" taste to it. But even with that said, I loved my 901, and that "ozone" taste is kind of additcing by itself. Somewhere down the line I think I'll get a 901 to 510 adapter and pick up a few atomizers just for the fun of it.
If I'd never heard of the 510 I'd still be a happy camper right now using my 901. Flavors come alive when you drip on the 510 and I actually thought they were better on my 510 then the 901, but a lot of it has to do with the vapor.
Just remember to soak you atomizers on a regular basis. One of the keys to the 901 is to keep the air flowing.

P.S. You're not alone, the 901 used to be at the top of the food chain. And it was there for a reason! It's still an awesome e-cig in its own right.
I have both and prefer the 901 due to better flavor and never getting that burnt taste that I experience with the 510. I have both the auto and manual batteries for the 901 and prefer the manuals except they don't fit in the pcc.
I mentioned this in my last post, but you may be interest in this. Altsmoke.com offers 510 battery adapters. They make them for the 510 so you can use a 901 or 801 or KR808D (Vapor King) atomizers. It's hard to try to maintain 3 or even 2 ecigs at once. You've got too many chargers and passthroughs and batteries.
I've always wanted to try an 801 but didn't want yet another set of batteries and chargers and passthroughs and stuff to carry. The adapters aren't cheap (or maybe they are at $12.95) but I think it's a good way to focus on one type of battery or USB Passthrough.

Probably the reason I like 901 more is because I'm a light vapor, didn't smoke that often either, so throat hit doesn't matter as much to me and I care about taste more, and don't know about nicotine delivery, but I have a feeling I don't really need much nicotine, could always put down cigs for a few days when visiting relatives etc. I didn't want to smoke around and wouldn't crave cigarettes. I did enjoy smoking however, and smoke when stressed or studying for college.
Use em' both all day long, every day. Flavored in the 901, unflavored in the 510 has been a really satisfying combo for me.

I purchased a 901 and have been smoke free for 4 weeks now after smoking a pack of unfiltered camels a day for 37 years.
When I found this forum I started reading about how everyone loved there 510s. So I said to myself "self, you should give it a try". So I purchased a 510 kit.
When 510 arrived I loaded it up with my 24mg camel and started puffing away. Great vapor but no tast. So I said to myself "self, give it some time it will come around". After 2 days I was craving a analog so bad I could hardly stand it.
Went back to the 901 and haven't craved an analog since. Ended up giving the 510 away.
Now I'm thinking that maybe I didn't give the 510 a fair shake, so I ordered another one last night. Got one with a pcc and some auto batterys, I also ordered a 801 to ty out. I'd like to think I have a open mind about new things(don't ask my wife about that she'll just lie) but I think the 901 is here to stay.

I have 901, 510 and 801 attys and I use them all....with stock batteries, mods and passthroughs. They each bring something a little different to the table. Personal preference is a very subjective thing so just keep using whatever works for you and keeps you off the analogs.

510 3rd choice. I've found adding a little VG to my juice is the only way to keep the burnt taste away with the 510. It's the blazing hot atty after a couple long pulls that makes it kind of worthless to me as an all day vape.
Without VG to lessen the burnt flavor, it would have no use to me.

It doesn't matter what I use, the 801 or the 510 (although the 510 is my favorite), my husband makes me look like a vaping newbie. He can make his own rain clouds while I just can't manage to get the same amount of vapor that a steam engine does. I can't for the life of me figure out what the hell I'm doing different!

i have a 510, blu, and 901
i use my 510's nonstop since my 901 passthrough ate it
but when the new one gets here i'll plug it right up
i seem to have gotten more vapor from it on the regular and the volume of the vapor in the mouth with it was amazing
I have a 510 and found the throat hit to be 2 harsh, got a blue and it BLOWED! Gonna wait for my chuck to come in and use a 901 adapter and see what everyone is talking about in terms of flavor on the 901 atty
I've been using the 901 exclusively on the passthrough and it work like a champ so far. One thing I've found that helps me, is I have 2 atties that I think are BE(bestecig) have a V shaped bridge and solid silver looking ring around it,and it would taste burn for awhile, I flood the hell out of it, and the taste will be great, itll turn bad after maybe 10 or more draws, and I'll drip 2 more drops in and it will taste great for awhile and I'll drip again when it starts to taste bad again. Before I would put a few drops in and it would always taste bad, and it had juice on it,but found flooding it helps tremendously, for me at least. If any juice comes out of the hole, I just wipe it with a paper towel. I don't even blow out the attie when i flood it. But yah works like a champ( don't know how the carts work with it as I drip)
I think 901's probably simulate the smoking experience better due to throat hit and flavour, this is probably one of the reasons why new users/quitters are pointed towards 901's. but they're so inconsistent. A good 901 on 5 volts is vaping heaven but I've had more bad leaky/gurgly/overheating 901's than good. Overall I feel 510's are more consistently good even if they do lack the kick that 901's give. I use Heavens Gifts Hilton almost exclusively but on the 510 I mix some TW Hilton or tobacco into it to give it more flavour.
