So, first, I'll say that it does in fact fit.

I absolutely love the whistle tip. It's so good. I am even finding that it performs better all around. Holds more liquid, wicks better, even handles over filling better somehow.

The bad news. It is tight as hell on the atmoizer. I find it really really hard to pull it off of the atmoizer. I haven't been able to pull it off yet without using my teeth, and that hurts.

I'm evaluation my options at the moment for fixing that problem, but I will continue to use it due to the performance and feel superiority.

how long have you used them and whose carts are you using? i agree with you they do fit and outperform the round ones but i have noticed that the ones i am using seem to leak right where the hole is. so either i am dragging to hard(i dont think so) or they are defective. its not alot but noticeable. i have the thin flat tips that i got from a liquid order. i have heard that there are some thick whislte tips out there. any thoughts?

My 501 was purchased from AltSmoke, my 901 carts came from Totally Wicked along side a juice order. I have only had one instance so far with juice not being where it's supposed to be, and that happened while was driving and otherwise preoccupied, so I couldn't really examine the situation properly to determine the cause. I got home, blew the atty out, and have since not had any problems at all. I got them today, at about 1pm, and have been using it damn near constantly since.

I know there are several others out there using this set up. What have you guys done to make it easier to get the cart off of the atomizers. Right now it's really killing me.

i got my 901 carts from vapor options and wet your stick for my 510 and i dont have a problem getting them off. i have a 510 from Inno w the new atty's.

Yes, it was actually a big issue for a while. IV got these "new attys", that they purported to be redesigned Joye 510s, but they were in fact not genuine Joye hardware, and so all of the Joye carts meant for 510s were just a little too small for those "new attys" and would leak.

and they told me i got the new carts too! they also replaced a bad atty and i got a different one so i wonder if my 901 carts wont come off it!

I have found that different 901 carts fit the 510 differently. Some are to small and some are to big. I just keep trying until I find one that fits right and use it until it wears out. I wonder if using an emery board and sanding the sides might make it fit better.

This is what i've been considering doing. I guess i'll just give it a go and report back.

Riot, after taking maxwell's advice I got 20 901 flat tip carts from vapor options super cheap! Thanks buddy. I have all genuine 510 parts and I was a pain in the .... to get them on but I figured it out.

I use a metal file I have on a pocket knife. I shaved off a very tiny piece of the cart. Once the "D" makes it through the atty there's the last bit that has to pass (where the actual airflow comes from). That was where I had problems fitting it in. I used the file just a tad so it would squeeze through and no issues. I hope this helps.
