I am kind of new to this so I'm not sure if this is a stupid question. I ordered vaping Rabbit eliquid online but had no idea that it was 99% VG until it came in. I have heard from the guy at the local vapor store that 100% VG will not work in my device (Iclear 30S tank & Kangertech EVOD battery nothin fancy.) MY question is the 99% VG the same thing? Because of its thickness and low viscosity it will not absorb into the wick and produce vapor in my device? Does vaping Rabbit only work in higher end contraptions or does the 1% PG solve that problem of not binding to wicks?! Thanks for all your help I am new to thsi forum but finding great info here!

Most commercial are not over an 80% vg because of the flavorings used. Very few vg based flavors are out and most of them suck

That said, yes you can use what you have with a higher vg mix, however don't chain vape it. Make sure to keep tilting it so the wicks have a chance to soak up the vg. and every couple of hits take a hit without pushing the power button, this helps force feed the juice.

If you like clearos and want to use higher vg juices I do suggest something with a bottom coil. I DIY most of my juice and it is around 90 to 100% VG (I use little to no flavor) and have had good luck with things like the aerotank and protank type tanks.

Hi eesti and welcome to ECF!

You can solve the problem by adding a bit of distilled water to thin it out. About 10% would be a good starting point. It will mute the flavor a bit and lower the nic percentage a bit, but at lease it'll be thing enough to work properly.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

You can thin out the juice by adding a small amount of water, perhaps about 5%. This will help some. (There are people who go as high as 20%, but for me that's too much). Between vapes, put your e-cig into a coffee cup or something similar, tip-side down (Or in your pocket). Storing it that way will cover the wick and help keep the coil wet.

"Dude," I don't know what a dry hit is, ......

A dry hit is just that, it is when there is no juice on the coil and you get this god awful taste. Trust me once you get one you will know what it is and know you don't want to get another. It is why it is so important to keep the wicks wet and why with higher vg juices in a clearo you can NOT chain vape them.

I never suggest using water to thin a juice, but something else you can do if you decide you want to thin it out some is to get a high pg juice that will go with it. Such as if it is a custard maybe try a nice vanilla and so forth, and mix the two.

Also do not discount the advice of anyone on here regardless of the number of posts. There are a lot of vapors that come to this site with knowledge beyond their years or number of posts. We are all young to vaping at one point or another. Just so you know finding what works for you is a very time consuming and trial basis. I would start off with going to your local vape shop (Brick and Mortor) and ask them what you can get for your budget and what you want to get out of your vaping. Also if they are worth anything they will help you get in the right direction on liquids and supplies. I started off with blu cigs, then to an ego vape pen, then to the nautilus mini with a mini eleaf stick. I am happy with it but want to get a better eleaf stick, for longer vaping without being tied to a USB cord to vape. It is all in your preferences. Welcome and good luck to you.

Oh and no question is a dumb one. Especially here. We all start off at a different point. Keep an open mind and ears. Might I also suggest looking and Mountain Oak vapors. They have a really good selection and their descriptions are usually spot on. Read the reviews of the liquid itself, because that can tailor to your taste buds.

twgbonehead, could you elborate on the importance on flipping it upside down? My atomizer is an icelar30s with the wick down the middle/center axis of the clearomizer so wouldnt it always be in contact with the juice (i.e. absorb it from all sides thru the middle)?

My first setup once I gave up on cigalikes was an eGo with a CE4 and VG juice. Worked OK if I kept from running the tank down to less than a quarter full and swirled it around to make sure the wicks stayed wet. Try it before you panic. If you do get dry hits at least you'll know what it is. If you find you prefer VG, or mostly VG, I would switch to a bottom coil clearomizer. I use minipro tanks on the basic eGo batteries and all VG works fine, but a little PG does help.

How can you get 99% VG? You have nicotine and flavorings in there.
.5% flavoring?

With that said up to 70% VG works well in most clearomizers. Better in some than others.

It's called thevapingrabbit see if you can look it up ( I think bcz im new it doesnt allow me to post links)

This is a popular high end brand I have no idea why they would make stuff that doesnt work in the most basic devices :/

Although I have seen 100% VG down at the local brick and mortar shop, it looked really thick like straight snot or something. THIS 99% juice is really viscous and liquidy- i dont get it... I have not opened it though-waiting til my other one runs out. I will post my findings- you've been a great help to this noob guys!
