A Ban on Vaping Harms Public Health

People are getting more and more aware of this BS ban. I mean even non-smokers knows it's more healthy'er to vape then smoke...

Imagine...no more cigarette butts on the sidewalks :)

Cleaner environment… But wait…Why in the hell would we want to provide this to a better/brighter future?

HAHAHA I guess people working at Marlboro or DuMaurier (I forgot brands here, to much to name) are getting scared.

The real issue is the current tax revenue generated from smoking. 1.1 billion is not easily replaced. Maybe once the Ontario government introduces the new retirement savings plan and implements their new carbon tax they will have enough additional revenue to finally replace the tobacco tax. Then again with a $17 billion yearly deficit something tells me they will never want to see smoking go away.

Bugmints will always pay lip service to any efforts meant to curb smoking. At least as long as you're looking.
Once the cameras are switched off and the doors are closed they're working hard at finding that fine line between 'optimizing' taxation and BT / BP revenues.
Cuz ya can't milk the cows if ya scare it off for good....

The fact that there are healthier pastures now ( i.e. vaping ) isn't welcomed at all, cuz it requires bugmints that have been mired in their ruts for too long to rethink the whole game. And every time I glance over the news, I get the impression that 'thinking' isn't exactly what bugmints are good at...

afaik they lost 1billion in contraband cigs,

No they didn't. This would be the same logic as saying "the music industry lost 1 billion in sales due to illegal downloads". The fallacy is that those people downloading would not pay the asked price anyway. The only way to sell them is to lower the price of the product - at which point that 1 billion becomes 100 millions or less.

I'm so glad I got into vaping when I did.

Had I waited until (Ontario) Bill 45 passes, and vaping driven underground, further demonized by legislation and not had the ability, I would not have had the terrific initial experience or never even tried it.

As far as I'm concerned Bill 45, if it goes through, is going to kill people.

Shameful.
