Hey guys, despite having to post this in the newbie fourm, Im not new to vaping. About a month ago I purchased a Jellyfish box mod, with an Aspire Atlantis sub ohm tank(.5 coils) to replace my old set up. I purchased it at my local vape shop and had them set it up and prime it for me. Worked great till I had to change out my coil. Ever since after the first couple of puff I get that we'll known burnt taste (I've been only vaping Ronin brand ejuices. Stuff is bomb when it's not burning. ) Anyways, when I change my coil I usually will do it before bed to make sure it gets proper wicking time. I know it doesn't need that long, just my routine. Drip some in the coils, and on the holes... you know the usual. Fill her up give a few primer sucks to make it wick faster, then a few when I wake before I use it. Don't get me wrong I'll get a little bit of use out of it (about a day or two) then the taste hits. Did some research, and looking it said that it's not wicking correctly becuse of the tank pressure. It instructs to close off the air holes and blow in to equal out the pressures. That works for about 1 to 2 hits then it burns again. Extremely frustrated at this point. I'm vaping at 20w because that's where I feel I get the best taste... anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm thinking once the wick becomes burnt, its ruined for life. No matter how much you re-prime it with primer puffs or whatever. Like burnt cotton, the burnt taste doesn't really ever go away. Put in a new coil and make sure you prime it adequately, and then do primer puffs often to prevent burning the wick.

I don't have that particular tank, so I can't help any more than that. Also not familiar with that brand of e-liquid. If a Vg heavy juice, it may be slow to wick in a tank.

A few things to consider:
Slightly lower power
E-liquid viscosity - thickness - a single drop of water can thin a 10ml a bit.
Air Flow - If simply going for the max air flow, you could be starving the wicks.

Slightly reducing air flow will increase Liquid flow to the wicks. A negative pressure is created in the main tube that draws more from the tank.
