Okay...survived the beer poisoning...

Nighthawk, now I see clearly :). You were the recipient of your first kit.

So what was it like? Were you familiar with ecigs, had you tried them or did you just get a box and wonder what the bleep is this?

Godzilla, please get your friend in here. I am jealous too, I'm still on a 901 one which is fine, but the batteries make it unreliable. Last night with a few too many beers I ended up with 4 dead batteries (chain vaping and had run some down at work) I am looking forward to not having to worry about that!

My best friend and I started smoking waaaay back in the day when we were teens. Then she learned about ecigs and started on them. She lives pretty far away, but we talk on the phone pretty often. She called me up and told me all about it. I was really excited about the whole idea and talked to her several times about them. Then she mentioned the cost. Yikes! I support 7 people on about $300. a week. It doesn't go very far. She got me my first 510 kit and some very nice juices as well. I can safely say, she saved my life. She also directed me to this forum which has really made everything so much easier and simpler. I really love the support and expert advice everyone gives so freely here. I help out on the "Wellness Wrecked & Bonkers" sub forum which is the small way I am giving back to help others on the journey. If everyone does a little bit, it adds up to a whole lot of good.

Hi, I was sent here by LMRASCH who told me about this post. I am interested in paying it forward. My fiance has smokers lung at 28 years old. We cannot afford at this time to purchase the equipment. We are so excited about paying in the future and this opportunity if it is still available. You are a remarkable person for starting this contagious behavior!

Hi calico post, you probably don't wanttopost your email addy here, spambots search forum sites for them and you can end up with a ton of junk mail.

The opportunity is absolutely available! Have lmrasch pm me your address (i don't think you can pm until you have a certain number of posts) and what flavor juice you want and let's get started! Welcome to ECF and vaping. I hope vaping works for you as well as it has for so many here.

I just got my eGo, and it blows my 901 away!

Hi Vanisle,

Please let us know your parents' experience with it. I love seeing stories about people getting their loved ones converted over to vaping. It has been two weeks now for me, andI feel so much better!

Calicopost, lmrasch has sent me the information, and I will place the order today (Saturday for me :) ). You are the first!

Cheers,

CB

Nighthawk,

I totally agree every little bit helps, and when everyone chips in in little ways it adds up to positive change. I am totally blown away by the kindness and support of the people on ECF. Smokers have been treated as pariahs in recent years...and yet it doesn't take much reading in these forums to see the goodness in peoples' hearts.

Dear ECF Forum Members,

I personally feel that ecigs have already changed my life for the better. To me this technology is a miracle. I want to share that miracle, and I want to share it with people who might not otherwise be able to get started. So here is what I am going to propose. I want members here who have friends, family, buddies, neighbours, loved ones, respected enemies...whatever...people who should give vaping a try, to get these people on here, get them accounts, and I will pledge to send them an eGo starting kit and 30 ml of juice to get them started.

As I am not made of money I want to limit this to ten people. But there are strings attached.

1) The person must be a smoker who wants to try an alternative and be 18 years of age or older. The community here needs to support these people in their transition to vaping;

2) I'd like to see these people post about their experiences and maybe even get one of those vaping banners talking about money saved , time vaping, etc.;

3) These people agree, that by accepting their free eGo and 30ml Juice, that they will within 6 months, pay it forward to two more people if they make the transition. The new people are under the same understanding regarding these rules. Clearly stated the agreement is to purchase and ship 2 eGo (or whatever the recommended tech is at the time) starting kits and 30ml of starter juice to two more people who are new to vaping and come posting in the thread with a sponsor;

4) If they are unable to make the transition then they fork out for new carts, new Juice and some shipping, and send the equipment on to someone new. They don't need to equip two people, just pass the torch to someone who agrees to the above conditions and is new to vaping;

I will place the initial orders, but am in no way legally obligating myself. If customs seizes the shipment, I can't accept responsibility for that, but if the package is returned to me, or whomever I ordered it from, I will try it again.

I am not associated with any vendors, any companies, or anything like that...I just feel that eCigs change lives. They have changed mine. I'd love to see this blossom into an exponential cascade of people switching to ecigs. I believe strongly enough in this to drop a little coin into it and see what happens.

I ask the community to please try and find a friend who may be put off by the initial upfront costs so that we can reach to people who may benefit, but cannot justify putting out the upfront money. I am not doing this to upgrade an existing vaper, but to try and bring new people into the lifestyle, hell I haven't even got my eGo yet ;)

To try and reach new people, I extend this offer to the first ten new users (first post) that are sponsored by an existing user (by posting support for them in this thread.)

So if you have a friend on the fence, get them, bring them, sign them up here and let's get them started. I am sorry that I have to limit this to 10 people at this time.

Cheers,

CB

Hello CB,
My friend introduced me to the vape world and I being a smoker fell in love with it. I am a pack a day or more smoker. I have been vaping with my friends ecig and feel satisfied and not so crazy for a smoke. my finances are at a extreme low lately and cant afford this at the moment but would love to have this in my life. I would love to not have to rely on cigarettes anymore. Using the vaper, i feel physically better and lose interest in cigarettes. my work seems to be on a slow rise and I am looking forward to sending this gift to someone interested in the future.

Hey Mr. Softball,

Are any of your vaping friends on ECF? Preferably I'd prefer to have someone sponsored by another ECF member who has been around for a bit, but even if you don't, what the heck. So far I have only shipped one unit :).

You'll need to PM me your name, address and phone number. I don't think you can PM until you have at least 5 posts so participate in the forums a little and drp me a note.

Cheers,

CB

Three4Me, my sister is sponsoring me and told me to reply to thread to get started. Please let me know what I need to do next. Thank you for this offer, I would like to take you up on it and pay it forward myself but need help getting started. I look forward to hearing from you.-Brandon

Not sure where my other post went. Just wanted to confirm that I referred Brandon here! I know he will be analog free once he gets an e-cig and it's an added bonus that we get to help two others in the end as well! Thanks so much!

Hi Brandon,

Welcome to the world of vaping! I hope this works out for you like it has for so many of us here.

You are already started. What I need next if your sponsor to PM your name address and phone number for shipping, and for you and her to decide on what flavor and strength of ejuice are most likely to work out for you. This is a big reason to have a sponsor. Someone who can guide you with this as if you get something you hate, or is too weak or strong it could put you off.

Cheers,

CB

Hi Steve....it is I who am sponsoring Mr. Softball, lol! I have a gazillion more if you like.....Seriously, these are some that I posted about earlier in the thread. Right now Mr.Softball (Mike) is using one of my PVs and I gave him some liquid, but I don't have the funds to outright purchase one for him right now. I had planned to purchase one for he and his wife next month as well as a few other people, but they're so doggoned excited about it I was sharing what I had before I could purchase theirs.
I would understand if you would like to give other sponsors a chance to get their people on board and Mike could continue to use my backup PV until I could afford to purchase his.
Please let me know ~ Thanks a bunch ~ Lanette

Well, now we are getting some momentum here I think.

Everyone, please remember I need you to pm me your names, addresses, phone numbers and juice flavor and strength. So far only one order has been placed. You can also give a colour preference if you like but That is subject to availability. I think the eGo comes in black, white, steel and titanium.

Cheers,

CB
