So I bought a 510 from Dietsmokes.com the other day.... and i also bought some extra carts from esmokeytreats.com and the sample pack from johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com....

My rommate called, who is equally excited (the whole house is trying to quit smoking, 4 of us including me)... I GOT PACKAGES!

So after working today and some homework I raced home....

Guess what packages I got?

My juice and the extra carts.


8-o ARRRGHHHHH!!!!!!

One more day and it should be here.... it sucks knowing I have everything ready but NO ecig!

Ill live though... One more day hopefully!

Also, I still have the feeling that im not going to like it, the atomizer taste is going to ruin it at first for me, wont replace smoking.... etc. etc.

No worries DJ, out of my first five pack of atties, I only had one that tasted like crud. I blow them all out with canned air first, just to get the nasty fluid out... and of course, the first day, I was unprepared, and had to just blow them out manually... but it tasted fine. I just introduced the 7th person to e-cigs today... and they love it. Of course, maybe they're just saying that, maybe I wore the wrong shirt, or maybe it's just me, and not them! Dang it, now you've got me flustered too. jk, vaping will love you as much as you love it.

By the way, editing to add a nice thing that might help you out, we just started a vaping group here in Augusta, GA, and we have a bunch of extra kits with our combined powers. So we let interested parties try an e-cig out (with a clean cart of course) for a day or two, just so they know if they like it before they buy it. So far, so good!

Yeah but at least in this instance it is not more experienced than you, and is much less likely to dump you after you've spent a bunch of money on it and driven around with it for a while

Do I just blow on the battery end of the battery? and do I have to worry about blowing to hard?

My roommate would love that... and on your site it looks like its a 901.... Could you pm me with the information on the loaner? He is in the market to buy one so it would be beneficial for both parties I think. I also bought quite a bit of smoke juice, so we would only need the e cig itself.

Anyways lemme know, we are in Washington

And yes on your atty question, just blow from the batt end and you'll see all kinds of gunk come out the end of it. And I place my atties battery side UP on a paper towel at night and the nicotine comes out (more than you'd expect) onto the paper towel.

Its so cool to start vaping with other people at the same time. Teaching each other new techniques and discoveries. I hope you get your packages soon, I remember how excited I was when my starter kit showed up. It was like Christmas.
In a way its kinda lonely starting out by yourself. Ahhhh, the life of a trend setter....

Monday was a bad day to keep checking mail since USPS was off for Columbus Day, but hope you have the kit in hand by today. If you have any problems, don't get discouraged. Lots of people on here to answer any questions as there is a learning curve that we've all dealt with.

Ack! I know that feeling. I did the same thing - I ordered my starter kit from one website, and ordered some juice and an extra batty from another site. The juice/batty came the NEXT day, and the kit didn't arrive for 2 days! Great shipping time, to be sure, but I sat for a whole day alternating between glaring at my pack of cigarettes and gazing longingly at my juice with no cart/atty!

This is a great thing to do - it reminds me of the "See a Kindle in Your City" deal that Amazon has encouraged, where people with Kindles can meet up to show interested buyers what it looks like and how it works. With both the Kindle and ecigs, most people are going to be buying online, and both items are still fairly uncommon amongst the general public, so it's hard sometimes to get a good idea of what they look/feel like, how they work in reality, etc., before you have to shell out the money for one. I've found it to be MUCH more compelling to demonstrate my ecig for people rather than explain it on the phone or the internet - they're much more interested and they understand it right away!

I completely forgot about that! Some of the banks were closed too...

And I think the loaner is also a great idea.... Hopefully I can spread the word once I get mine... I go to a pretty large university and have yet to see one person with a PV
