A day one giggle....

I got my KR808D-1 in the mail today... practically molested the mailman to get it out of his hands, I might add. Was even more happy to find out my batteries came pre-charged (I'd like to kiss the guy/gal who did that) and totally by-passed the pre-filled cartos to fill the empties I had ordered with the 6mg banana juice I also ordered (I'm a light weight and knew I wouldn't need any more nic than that because even light analogs constantly gave me a buzz).

I remember getting caught smoking by my mother and father 25 years ago and she's been trying to get me to quit since then. I showed her the PV tonite, explained a bit about it, took a drag.... blew the vapor right at her face... I was far enough away I knew it would dissipate before it even got to her...

The look on her face as I exhaled... and then the look as she realized it didn't smell at all.... PRICELESS! Not to mention I giggled like a teenager for about 20 minutes afterwards.

Do any of you have similar stories?

I can't say I have a similar story to tell. But, since you're probably close to 40 years of age, it is nice to know you can giggle like a teenager, LOL.

I was showing mine to my auntie in-law and wanted to demonstrate how it works. She started to walk toward the garage because that's where her husband goes to smoke. I knew she'd never be able to tell the difference out there because it stinks so bad in the garage.... so *KA-BAM* I whipped it up to my face before she could get too far away and huffed a huge plume of vapor right into the kitchen! She physically jerked in preparation for a horrid death-stench, but alas, only sweet, sweet candy flavor issued forth. Lovely.

I tried to get the uncle in-law to bite, but I just couldn't get him to muster enough faith to give it a go.

I skipped the prefilled, and believe it or not; I filled a blank with High Caliber Banana Split. Mine was 24mg, though. I did cut it with a couple drops of VG.

My tough customer was my Brother. He's been on me for years to give up the "stinkies". I told him I was going to try e-cigs and he laughed and shook his head. I went over to his house a few nights after I got the new PV and he was fairly impressed. Now that I've been using it for a couple months, I think he actually believes that it might be good substitute for the analogs.

Anyway, the kr8's been working great for me. I'm very pleased with the performance. Hope you're having the same experience.

I love your story... really really really dislike your avatar. Die hard Bears fan here and we sadly died very hard on Sunday. I smoked quite a bit that day.

If it's any consolation(I'm sure that it isn't), the game could have gone either way. When our teams play each other, it's almost always a battle to the end. I vaped myself silly through most of the game. I'm down to smoking only a few cigs a day, but I had to have one at halftime just to calm my nerves.

Please don't hold my choice of avatars against me. I've been a cheesehead since I was old enough to carry a football.
